Elves are magical creatures often used in fairy tale stories, most noticeably Christmas stories. They usually work by making toys for Santa Claus in which he delivers them on Christmas Eve.
Appearance
Elves are usually innocent human children with small eyes and pointed ears.
History
Ben 10
Elves were seen for the first time in Merry Christmas, where the team saw a door in a desert. The village however, was under a curse, as it time locked the kids in the village during Christmas 1932. The people were governed by an Old Elf and the founder of the town Thomas Jingles, who kidnapped Max, believing that he was Santa Claus and began to transform him into Santa.
Not much later, Ben and Gwen were attacked throughout the town by toy soldiers, nutcrackers. During the episode, they also became elves due to the curse.
The reason for this curse, was because of the Jinglelator, a machine used by Jingles to maintain the fantasy of Christmas village. Ben and Gwen were informed of this from an elf (Elsgood) who was fully aware of the curse. They infiltrated the plant and Grey Matter disabled and destroyed the Jinglelator.
Jingles entered and revealed that his curse would be fully lifted when the toys were delivered on Christmas Night. So, Ben turned into Stinkfly and delivered the toys, thus lifting the curse. The equipment was sent back to Christmas Village. When everything was back to normal, people started to appear again and the trio spotted an aged Elsgood with his grandchildren and in the town center was a statue of Thomas Jingles.
