Ghosts are spirits of the dead.

Appearance

Ghosts are slightly transparent versions of their living selves with a ghostly glow. They have feet that can form together into a tail. While the ghosts seen in Them's Fightin' Words! are blue, Carl had his normal colors.

History

In Them's Fightin' Words!, Hex summoned the ghosts of the McJoy and Hartfield family members using the Corn Flute, which due to the feud between the two families, caused the ghosts to become stronger. The ghosts attacked Ben as Rath who wants to get back the flute. Gwen throws a piece of corn onto Hex, making him drop it, who teleported when he saw his robes are stuck in a combine. The ghosts were put to rest after Gwen revealed that both families owned the flute.

Powers and Abilities

As they are already dead, ghosts are effectively immortal as they can reform and regenerate themselves when attacked.^[1]

Ghosts are able to levitate and fly.

Ghosts are able to possess objects to move them around as they please.^[1]

Ghosts are able to change their lower half into a tail.^[1]

Weaknesses

Ghosts are still tangible, which means they can still be hit by attacks, such as fire generated by a Pyronite.

Ghosts can be trapped in an Enchanted Locker.^[2]

Trivia

• Carl, as opposed to dying, is stated to be turned into a ghost by his brother using dark magic.
• In Ben 10 Ultimate Alien: Cosmic Destruction, ghosts can be seen in the Catacombs.
