Yawkwawi, (better known as Yawk) was an evil bear-like monster that tried to escape from Mascot.
Appearence
Yawk was a massive bipedal brown bear. In his wooden form, he had blocky and had yellow eyes. When reverting back to his original form, one of the eyes became entirely wooden, while the other became red. He was partially furless, namely on his torso, arms, feet, and head.
During his song, Yawk was shown wearing a crown and cape in both his original and wooden forms.
Personality
Initially, Yawk came off as a jovial and charming individual who only wished to leave the valley he was stuck in, singing his backstory to Ben and Gwen However, he eventually revealed his true nature, which was that of a people-eating monster. Regardless, he has a penchant for singing.
History
Background
At an unknown point in his past, Yawk was supposedly an ordinary bear until he was cursed by an unknown voodoo wizard. The curse made him petrified as a wooden statue and completely lifeless during the day, and that curse can only be broken when Yawk leaves the valley before sunrise. The magic of the curse also gives life to the other mascots, to keep Yawk in the valley.
Ben 10
In Mayhem in Mascot, against Lenny's warning, Gwen and Ben snuck out at night to take a picture of Yawk. He revealed to their surprise that he could talk, and was turned into a wooden statue by a jealous wizard through his song. He requested their help in freeing him from the town, when suddenly, the fellow mascots of Mascot sprung to life. He explained that they were his guards, leaving Ben to fight them as XLR8. He and Gwen left for the valley, where he revealed his true intentions of eating her. Once Ben found out Yawk's true motives, he, Lenny and Allen came to stop him. Yawk almost returned to his original form, but was stopped by Omni-Enhanced Four Arms, who toppled the pillar he was standing on and caused him to fall to the ground, shattering into countless wooden chips.
Later, his remains were returned to Mascot, where he was rebuilt by Wildvine.
Powers and Abilities
Yawk was a vicious carnivore that, when partially restored to his original form, was powerful enough to overpower Omni-Enhanced Four Arms. He had claws that could shred metal, and could easily scale a rock spire.
Weaknesses
Yawk is practically helpless when within the confines of Mascot's valley, as he turned to wood, and needed others to fight for him.

- André LaMilza created concept art for Yawk, but it was scrapped because it was too creepy.[AL 1][AL 2] His final design was done by Chase Standley.[CS 1]
