Alien Maker was an online game on the Cartoon Network website that allowed players to create their own alien. The game was later adapted for mobile phones under the name Alien Maker: Battles. This version included a minigame where you could pit your created alien against those of other users.
Synopsis
When you started the game, you could choose between creating your own alien or viewing a gallery of images of other aliens created by users.
Upon entering the alien creator, you had to choose the alien's body type: humanoid, beast, or amorphous. Then, you could create your own alien by combining predetermined body parts and coloring it as you wished. Finally, you could generate a random three-word name and then upload your alien to the gallery or save it to your computer.
Gameplay
The first step in the game is to select the alien's body type. There are three types: human, animal, and liquid mass. After selecting a category, an editing window appears where you can change the torso, head, arms, legs, eyes, mouth, face, wings, tail, and color. After creating your alien, you will need to give it a first name, a middle name, and a last name. The alien's powers window then appears, displaying its strength, speed, agility, intelligence, and quirk levels. The final step is to save it, fight with it, send it to a friend, and print it.
To fight as an alien, you need to log in. Only after logging into the game will the alien be saved and able to participate in battles.
You can also share your created aliens with friends.
History
Originally, this game was released alongside Ben 10: Alien Force, but it was later updated with elements from the Ultimate Forms of Ben 10: Ultimate Alien. After the release of Ben 10: Omniverse, the game received a second update, which only changed the introduction screen, replacing the old one with the one containing Ben's design from Omniverse.
Errors
- In the opening screen of the game's second update, the new Omnitrix appears showing a hologram of Chromastone. This is an error as the new Omnitrix does not display such holograms.
Trivia
- There is a game very similar to this one, called Hero Matrix.
- Unlike Hero Matrix, this game primarily used aliens from Ben's roster to extract parts, though it also featured some new designs. It also reused designs from 'Amorphous Alien' from the previous game.
