The Neural Net Chamber was a neurotransmitter used to help Ben retain Brainstorm's intelligence.
Appearance
The Neural Net Chamber was a cylindrical device outwardly composed of a light gray metal and a blue-tinted tube. The chamber had a curved door on it allowing access, with a small handle on the outside.
Several electrodes with varying lengths of wire hung from the ceiling of the chamber. The chamber was also connected to numerous pieces of machinery via tubes, notably a boxy control board with a lime green keyboard.
Functions
- The Neural Net Chamber was able to transfer Brainstorm's intelligence to Ben and by extension, his other alien forms.
History
Comics
In Benstorm, Ben sought help from Cooper to help him ace his exams. Cooper introduced him to the Neural Net Chamber, which could help him retain Brainstorm's intelligence after changing back. Ben started doing well in school, but his friends noticed he had become cold due to Brainstorm's ego. While taking a walk in the park, the Forever Knights' new weapon, the Foreverbot, suddenly appeared in front of Ben, Gwen, Kevin and Julie. In the middle of battle, Kevin was annoyed by Humungousaur after he refused to let him and Gwen partake in the fight, so he got the Foreverbot's attention and directed it towards Cooper's house, destroying the Neural Net Chamber; reverting Ben's intelligence and defeating the Foreverbot simultaneously.
