Transporter Discs are a kind of programmable teleportation technology used by the Galactic Enforcers.
Appearance
At the start of their activation, Transporter Discs appear as a small vortex glowing blue, which swirls in a way not dissimilar to a Null Void portal.
Function
Transporter Discs are used to teleport beings from one place to another. Their range is suitable for teleporting to a planet from a ship within its orbit. They have only been observed to be controlled by the Galactic Enforcers and linked to their ship.[1]
Upon activation, one Disc will appear underneath the user's feet, then soon envelop them in blue energy and dematerialize them. After the user becomes a beam of blue energy, they fly with haste to wherever the destination is, then rematerialize. If teleporting in a group, it's possible for all the beams to travel as one large one, then split off separately once having arrived, as demonstrated when the Galactic Enforcers first touched down in Pittsburgh.[1]
Transporter Discs are a programmable technology; they can be activated remotely by the touch of an Enforcer's badge, or can be manually activated and fine-tuned to a specific location from a control panel.[1]
History
Background
Max Tennyson has used Transporter Discs before, likely during his Plumber days.[2][1]
Ben 10
In The Galactic Enforcers, as the Galactic Enforcers pursued the criminals SixSix and Vulkanus to Earth, they used Transporter Discs to teleport from their ship down into Pittsburgh. They helped turn the tide of the criminals' fight against Four Arms. After deciding to work with Ben, Gwen, and Max Tennyson, they used Transporter Discs to move all six of them back to their ship. Once SixSix and Vulkanus were located, the Enforcers and Ben used the Discs to teleport to a strip mine, while forcing Gwen and Max to stay. As the Enforcers and criminals fought in the mine, Max managed to program two Discs to take him and Gwen in the pit. In the aftermath of catching the criminals, after saying their goodbyes, the Enforcers used Discs to teleport both themselves and a petrified SixSix and Vulkanus back to their ship, leaving Earth.[1]
