Here's an idea, why don't you two try sharing the binoculars?

| Ben then grabs onto the binoculars and tries to snatch them off Gwen.

(chuckles) Well who knew you guys were such big fans of aeronautics?

Of course, this is the first fusion-powered plane capable of low-orbit flight.

The ship's cool, but it's all about the pilot.

Boring. All you got to know is it's a plane that goes into space! (VO) And they've got the coolest pilot in the world for the test-drive, Captain Betts McCabe, the only astronaut to ever play chicken with an asteroid and win. Pew, pew, pew!

| The crowd cheers upon seeing Betts McCabe entering her ship Pioneer Model-E.

Good afternoon, ground control. Let's get this show on the road, this plane isn't gonna fly itself.

|
We'll be piloting the Pioneer-E from down here, you're more of umm... a guest of honour.

| The back entrance shuts, and unbeknowst to McCabe, Vilgax is onboard.

| Vilgax

Vilgax the Conqueror, reduced to slinking through the shadows and stowing away in ships. (goes up to energy pod) But this will make it all worthwhile.

|
Alright, Captain McCabe, we're about to initiate the countdown for take off.

(sighs) Roger that.

| Vilgax
|
There will be no reason for a countdown, Roger (grabs McCabe with his elastic tentacles)

Hey! What are you? (yells)

| Vilgax makes the Pioneer Model-E take off, making everyone confused.

Something's wrong, (sees Vilgax in ship with binoculars) And that "something" is... Vilgax! I thought I took care of him last time. (gives Gwen binoculars) Here, (activates Omnitrix) Watch me handle this.

| XLR8 then swifts through the water and catches up with the Pioneer.

| Vilgax is then lifting the ship upwards.

(gasps) The plane!

| XLR8 then jumps on the wing of the Pioneer.

How do I get inside this thing? (Omnitrix beeps red) Oh... (times out)

(using binoculars in Rust Bucket) Ben's in trouble.

Hang in there, cuz, (grabs laptop) help is on the way!

Okay, this could be going better. (Omnitrix times back in) Sweet, give me something big! (slams Omnitrix and gets Grey Matter)

(gets blown away) Why? (grabs onto wing) Oh, yes, I'm sticky like gum. Just like my second grade backpack, now then, it's time to get sticky with it. (crawls to fuselage) Now then, if I could just reach the landing gear... (enters through fuselage)

Way to go, Grey Matter! He rode the wheels up into the fuselage, Gwen - Gwen?

Sorry, Grandpa, I'm trying to hack into the mission command mainframe.

I think if I can get into the ship's navigational systems, we can steer it back.

Hacking into a highly secure government space plane? Uh, that may not be the best idea, besides, I'm sure ground control has everything taken care of.

| In Ground Control, Max's answer is proven wrong when all ground control agents scream upon seeing Vilgax on the screen.

It's the end of days!

But Grandpa, it's our only way to help Ben from the ground.

| Back in the Pioneer Model-E piloting room.

(typing on panels) Insufferable, this craft is not fit for a ruler!

(transmission) Ground control to intruder, identify yourself. What are you doing to the automatic controls?

|
You must be Roger, I am Vilgax. You ship will be the first tool in my plan to dominate this planet.

| Ground Control Agent
|
There are no weapons on the Pioneer, return control immediately.

| Vilgax
|
You fools! The engine powering this ship is weapon enough. Within the hour, I can modify it to wreak destruction far and wide. (Vilgax then blocks connection, ending the transmission)

|
He just booted us out of our own system, there's nothing we can do.
|

| Meanwhile, Grey Matter is walking through a small airduct pathway.
|
| Grey Matter
|
Ah, here we are. Now, to find my way to the nerve center of this fine craft. (goes through vent) Alley-oop!

| Grey Matter then arrives in the room where the energy surge pod is.
|
| Grey Matter

Sometimes being small has it's drawbacks. Perhaps I can make a small adjustment for big results, if I reroute the differential containment mechanism, and then...

| McCabe then busts out of a crate.
|
| McCabe
|
(thinking Vilgax is around) You may have gotten the drop on me before, you big ugly octopus, but I'm ready for you now. Come out and fight!

| McCabe then spots Grey Matter.

(excited) Aah! (grips onto her leg excitedly) Captain McCabe!

Another alien?

| Grey Matter reverts into Ben.

| McCabe

Wait... a kid? Maybe I am losing it.

Aw man! I can't believe I'm on a space plane with Betts McCabe.

No, you got through, that was really lucky, Grandpa. (trying to hack into the energy pod) Now let's see what we can do to get Ben and the ship back home.

| Gwen has hacked into the energy pod, and she uses the cursor to lower the ship to 70 percent.

| In the Pioneer Model-E, the same screen showing on Gwen's laptop appears on a computer in the main piloting room with Vilgax.

Ah! Someone is trying to corral me.

So you're telling me this Vilgax fella wants my ship?

| Ben is trying to open the doors, but is struggling, McCabe walks up to the door with a metal stick.

Here, step aside, kid. (tries to barge door open with stick)

(grunts) Sit tight, I'm gonna find a bigger stick.

| Ben

I'm starting to think that we can't do this by ourselves.

(transmission call) Hello? Ben, can you hear me?

|
(using earpiece) I hacked into the ship's navigation, but Vilgax locked me out of the controls, do you think you can get into the cockpit from there?

That's what we've been trying to do. Ooh, see if you can open that door.

Alright, Captain McCabe, I'll get Vilgax, and you get the controls.

(grabs stronger metal stick) You sit tight, I'm gonna give this cosmic crustacean a fight to remember.

| The door suddenly opens.

Ben, I got the door.
|
| Ben turns around as the door opens, and Vilgax is behind him.

| Ben

(chuckles) Hey, Vilgax, Uh... nice tan line you got there.

| McCabe
|
Time for ol' Betts to bust some alien.
|
| McCabe charges at Vilgax, but he knocks her back.

| Ben

Captain!

| McCabe

I'm not done, I just... got to rest for a second. (groans)

| Vilgax
|
Back to one against one, child.

| Ben
|
(Omnitrix times back in) It's actually ten against one.

| Ben slams the Omnitrix and transforms into Diamondhead...

| Diamondhead

Diamondhea... wait, whoa!

| ...then suddenly, something new occurs, Diamondhead then gets consumed in plasma energy, then his whole body gets covered in plasma energy and rocks.

| Omni-Enhanced Diamondhead
|
Whoa-ho-ho! (hand morphs into electric blade) This is different, but I like it! (chuckles)
|
| Omni-Enhanced Diamondhead then charges at Vilgax, for the former to be kicked back onto the pod.
|
| Omni-Enhanced Diamondhead
|
Hey, be careful, don't you know how dangerous this engine core thingy is?

| Vilgax
|
That's why I seek it. (grabs Omni-Enhanced Diamondhead and throws him back)
|
| Vilgax then blasts lasers on Omni-Enhanced Diamondhead, but the latter manages to absorb the attack and use the power to weave it into an energy-powered blade.

| Onni-Enhanced Diamondhead
|
Cool! Thanks for the charge, right back at ya!
|
| Omni-Enhanced Diamondhead then uses it as an energy whip, but Vilgax grabs it.
|
| Vilgax
|
(chuckles) Your tricks will not help you. (throws him on the wall)
|
| Vilgax has then gained an energy scratch.
|
| Omni-Enhanced Diamondhead
|
Yeah, you might be right this once. Ouch! Gwen, I could use a little help here.

| Gwen
|
I have an idea, just... uh... roll with it.
|
|
|
| Omni-Enhanced Diamondhead and Vilgax scream as the ship twists, after it stops twisting, the fight continues.

How is this helping, Gwen? (dodges punch from Vilgax) Woah!

| Vilgax

There is no help for you.
|
| Omni-Enhanced Diamondhead jumps, as Vilgax throws a box at him, but the former cuts the box in half, and Vilgax then grabs his foot.

With pleasure! (lets go of him)

(throws crate on Vilgax) Well it's a good thing he's not alone, then, you ain't gonna triumph here, bucko!

| Vilgax shoots lasers on the engine core while trying to hit McCabe.

| Omni-Enhanced Diamondhead

Captain McCabe's right, Gwen, open the hatch!

What? But the pressurization, are you sure?
|
| Omni-Enhanced Diamondhead
|
Trust me, quick!
|

Hang onto something, captain!

| The hatch opens.

| The wind is then blowing Vilgax away due to the hatch being open.

| Omni-Enhanced Diamondhead morphs his hand into a diamond nail, then pins it onto the ground to prevent himself getting blown off, then McCabe holds onto a pole.

|
Quick thinking, kid. (trying to alert him) Kid!
|
| Suddenly, Vilgax is holding onto Omni-Enhanced Diamondhead's foot.

| Omni-Enhanced Diamondhead
|
Whoa, whoa, whoa. What? Hey, let me go!
|
| Vilgax
|
You will never escape my wrath, boy!
|
| Omni-Enhanced Diamondhead is about to be blown off the ship by the wind.
|
| Omni-Enhanced Diamondhead
|
Oh no!
|
| Vilgax then roars.
|
| Omni-Enhanced Diamondhead
|
Yuck, you should really get a dentist up in there.
|
| Diamondhead then morphs his hand into an electric rock cannon and shoots it at Vilgax.

|
Impossible!
|
| Vilgax then gets shot off the ship by the electrical blast, and he goes flying.

| Omni-Enhanced Diamondhead
|
Possible, I didn't know I could do that.
|
| Vilgax then shoots lasers out of his eyes in anger, then the lasers shoot the right wing of the Pioneer Model-E.

| Omni-Enhanced Diamondhead
|
Really? After all that, we can't just touch down gently?

|
you guys just lost a wing, and I lost control of the ship, but I'm not gonna panic.
|

| McCabe
|
I can steer it manually, kid, you think you can make a new wing for us out there?

| McCabe is then flying the ship to safety.

It's the end of days!

(on communication screen) Pioneer to Ground Control, this is Captain Betts McCabe. Coming in for a landing, over.

|

|
| A few minutes later, the Pioneer Model-E is on the surface again, and the people cheer for both McCabe and Ben.

Ha! Where do I begin? So there I was, riding point, when all of a sudden, this squid lipped monster shows up and then-

(to the crowd) But I can't take all the credit. With this young man's heroics and his friend's ingenuity, we made a pretty good team. Ain't that right, co-pilots?
