The Sentient Ultimate Big Chill was trapped inside the Ultimatrix as Ultimate Big Chill until he was freed by Azmuth and Ben.

Appearance

The sentient Ultimate Big Chill looks just like Ultimate Big Chill, except he has red eyes and lacks the evolved Ultimatrix symbol on his chest.

History

Ultimate Alien

In The Ultimate Sacrifice, the sentient Ultimate Big Chill, along with the other Ultimates, convinced Ben to commit suicide so they can be free. Ben tried to but was stopped by Azmuth, who freed and took the Ultimates to his lab[ES 1] where they could live comfortably and usefully.[DR 1]

Powers and Abilities

The sentient Ultimate Big Chill is capable of breathing "ice flames", which Ultimate Big Chill describes as "fire so cold it burns".[1] These flames are plasma beams that consume the heat of whatever they touch,[DM 1][MW 1] and he can control them with extreme precision.[2]

The sentient Ultimate Big Chill can also shoot said ice flames from his hands.[2] His breath and beams are both stronger and colder than a regular Necrofriggian's, capable of instantly turning the air around him and his enemies into solid ice.[2]

The sentient Ultimate Big Chill retains the Necrofriggian's abilities of fast flight and intangibility.[3] He can also turn fully invisible.[CN 1]

The sentient Ultimate Big Chill can cause opponents and objects to freeze by phasing through them if he chooses to.[2]

The sentient Ultimate Big Chill has enhanced strength.[4]

The sentient Ultimate Big Chill is durable enough to survive getting smacked by a To'kustar.[4]

Like Necrofriggians, the sentient Ultimate Big Chill can also survive underwater.[3]

The sentient Ultimate Big Chill can make his surroundings snow.[5]

Weaknesses

The sentient Ultimate Big Chill's intangibility is useless against opponents who can also turn intangible, as it will cancel out his ability to do so.[6]

Like Necrofriggians, the sentient Ultimate Big Chill is vulnerable to electricity, such as that generated by a Transylian.[7]
