The first wave of figures for the Original Series was released in early 2006, and contained the original 10 aliens, Ben, Tetrax, Vilgax, Kevin and Sixsix. Battle Versions

The Battle Versions line came out in 2007 and were a collection of figures with new poses, additional accessories, and changes such as some of them partially being molded in translucent plastic. They each came with a stand and a card, each side of which housed a themed background and information about the character, as well as a code to be entered into the DNA Lab on Bandai's website. The codes created alien fusions similar to those in the episode Dr. Animo and the Mutant Ray and are listed below.

Ben 10: Alien Force

Alien Collection

The first wave of Alien Force figures was released in 2008 and was packaged in predominantly blue boxes. The wave contained the 10 new aliens introduced in the series as well as Ben, Kevin, Alan, a DNAlien and a Highbreed. A second wave containing Upchuck, Soccer Ben, Gwen Anodite, Gorvan and a clear DNAlien was later released in 2009 in new, predominantly green boxes. Most of the figures from the first wave were also rereleased in the updated packaging. Finally, the third wave containing Nanomech, a glow-in the dark Ben, Gwen, Grandpa Max, Helen, Manny, a Forever Knight and Albedo was released in 2010. These came in slightly different packaging than the second wave and some figures from previous waves were also rereleased in these boxes. Each standalone figure of one of Ben's aliens from the first wave (apart from Alien X) came with a hologram minifigure that worked with the Ultimate Omnitrix toy and every figure came with a card that included some information about the character.

Defender Versions

The Defenders were similar to the Original Series' Battle Versions, where the figures had new poses or were made with translucent plastic. Only 4 of the figures (Swampfire, Humungousaur, Big Chill Cloaked and Spidermonkey) were posed differently while the rest were alternate colors. They came with hologram minifigures that could be used with the Ultimate Omnitrix and Omnitrix X10 toys, as well as a code to be entered into Alien Attack on Bandai's website. Ben 10: Ultimate Alien

Standard Figures

The initial waves of 4" standard figures for Ultimate Alien included the first six Ultimate Forms introduced in the series, the five Andromeda aliens, Lodestar, Nanomech and Rath. Figures of Ben's aliens (excluding Diamondhead) came with pop-up discs instead of cards that worked with the Disc Alien Ultimatrix toy. Some toys were sold exclusively in U.K. and India, such as Diamondhead, Ben, Gwen, Azmuth, Vilgax, Zombozo, Vulkanus, SevenSeven, and Aggregor, and these had collectible cards instead of pop-up discs. The figures were initially housed in green, blue and orange packaging. In later waves, some of them were re-packaged in green and white boxes and Ben's aliens now came with translucent minifigures that were compatible with the Revolution Ultimatrix toy. New figures were also released after the packaging update, those being Four Arms, Arctiguana, Way Big, Ultimate Wildmutt, Ultimate Kevin, Ben with Plumber Suit, Clockwork, Eatle, X-Ray Ben & Ultimate Aggregor. There was also some overlap between the packaging update and the disc-to-minifgure replacement, making it possible to find figures in the early packaging that came with a minifigure and figures in the updated packaging that came with a disc.

Ultimized figures were similar to the Original Series' Battle Versions and Alien Force's Defenders in that they were posed differently or included translucent elements. Reprints

These were toys from previous series that were rereleased in new packaging. Ben 10: Omniverse

Standard Figures

The Omniverse figures were slightly smaller than the previous figure lines, so that they could properly scale with one another, and no longer possessed metal joints. Some of the Wave 1 and Wave 2 figures came with mini figures that were compatible with the Omnitrix Challenge and Omnitrix Challenge V.2 toys. The figures from the first and second waves were initially packaged in green and black boxes, and most of them were later rereleased in green and white boxes. Some of the figures from Wave 3 onwards came with hologram mini figures that were compatible with the Omnitrix Shuffle toy. The final wave was themed to the show's 5th season, Galactic Monsters, and came in new packaging and no longer included mini figures. The wave included Ghostfreak and Frankenstrike.

Ben 10 (2016 TV Series)

Standard Figures

All action figures made for Ben 10 were manufactured by Playmates Toys rather than Bandai and were also slightly larger than past figures. The first wave included Cannonbolt, Heatblast, XLR8, Four Arms, Diamondhead, Ben Tennyson & Grey Matter, Hex & Steam Smythe. The second wave included Overflow, Stinkfly, Upgrade, Wildvine & Dr. Animo. The third wave included the Omni-Enhanced forms of Cannonbolt, Overflow, Heatblast, XLR8, Four Arms & Diamondhead as well as Shock Rock, Glitch Ben & Vilgax. From this wave onward, figures were packaged in slightly different boxes, and most figures from previous waves were also re-released in this new packaging. The fourth wave included Slapback, Rath, Humungousaur, Rustbuggy Ben, Hot Shot & Kevin 11. The fifth wave included the Omni-Kix Armor versions of Four Arms, Heatblast, Humungousaur, Shock Rock, Cannonbolt & Diamondhead as well as Bashmouth. The sixth and final wave of standard figures included the Omni-Naut Armor versions of Heatblast & Ben Tennyson as well as Omni-Kix Jetray & Jet Pack Ben. Figures from most waves were also sometimes packaged with a code that was compatible with the Ben 10 Heroes mobile game. Additionally, some figures were reprinted in different, simpler packaging without accessories and sold in Five Below stores.

Figures from the Alien Worlds line were translucent and colored almost entirely in the character's primary color. They also came with the same accessories that their standard counterparts did, though their color palettes now matched the new, differently-colored figure (excluding Overflow's water blasts). They sometimes came with a bonus code that was compatible with the Ben 10 Heroes mobile game.
