| The episode begins with a TV announcement. | |
| TV Announcer | Better stock up on that sunblock. This heatwave should last clear through to Sunday. Once again, we're getting word of a break-in at the Coriolanus labs in Bellwood, ending in a high-speed pursuit through downtown. |
| Several police cars drive through the streets. They seem to be chasing a criminal on the rooftops. The criminal is highly agile and gets away as the police cars come to a halt due to a fallen truck on fire in the middle of the road. Ben and Rook arrive in the Proto-TRUK. | |
| Police Officer | Ben Tennyson! |
| Ben spots the thief running away. | |
| Ben | I see him. Thanks, chief. |
| Police Officer | I'm not the chief. |
| Ben activates the Omnitrix and transforms into Crashhopper. He hops on the police cars, breaking them and leaps onto the rooftops. | |
| Crashhopper | Hyaa! |
| Rook | (To Police Officer) We will take it from here. |
| Police Officer | Careful. She stole some kind of...fusion thing. |
| Rook | I am a Plumber, officer. I am always careful. |
| Rook runs ahead to catch up to Crashhopper and the thief. | |
| On the rooftops, the chase continues. Crashhopper tries to swipe the thief but the thief dodges. | |
| Crashhopper | Yah! Yaah! |
| Crashhopper swipes once again, causing the thief to slide and fall towards a construction site ahead. The thief tries to maneuver through the site but Crashhopper breaks through one of the girders. The thief uses her elastic powers to swing to safety. She stands on the edge of a girder. | |
| Crashhopper | At the end of your rope, huh? |
| Crashhopper stalks the thief. The thief walks back and looks down below. | |
| Ester | Not ever. |
| Ester signals to Crashhopper to come at her. Crashhopper charges towards her but Ester jumps and does a backflip. Her visor falls off and Crashhopper gets a look at her face. Crashhopper seems surprised. He continues to fall while Ester grapples onto the construction site. | |

| Water splashes around and over a woman nearby. | |

| Crashhopper emerges from the pool and spits out some water. | |
| Crashhopper | Ptew! |
| Woman | (Gasps) Uh... shoo. |
| Crashhopper jumps out of the pool. | |
| Ester | You might have the power, Ben Tennyson, but I got the reach! |
| A ball of energy falls out of the container Ester was wearing around her shoulder. The balls falls to the ground and Crashhopper follows it. He attempts to grab the ball. | |
| Rook | DO NOT TOUCH IT! |
| The ball begins to melt the floor. Ester extends her arm and grabs the ball. | |
| Ester | It's been an honor, Ben. But I don't think that form suits you. Buh-bye! |
| Ester waves at Ben and swings away. Crashhopper leaps to follow her, as does Rook using his Proto-Tool's grappler. They stop on a rooftop. | |
| Crashhopper | Okay. So, the girl took the fusion device where? |
| Rook uses his scanner as a tracker and points ahead. Rook grapples downwards while Crashhopper jumps down. They arrive outside a tunnel. Rook continues using his scanner. | |
| Rook | Are you going to stay like that? |
| Crashhopper | Just till the Omnitrix times out. |
| Rook | How long does that take? |
| Crashhopper | Uhh... 15 minutes or so. |
| The Omnitrix times out and Crashhopper turns back into Ben. | |
| Ben | (Looks at Omnitrix) Guess that's it. |
| Rook | I think our thief appreciates this Ben Tennyson a little more. |
| Ben | Huh? |
| Rook | She did express interest in some other form of yours. |
| Ben | Oh. She must have meant Ditto. According to the fan sites, that's my cutest alien. |
| Rook | That is not at all what she meant. |
| Ben | Hah! Right! 'Cause you know everything about girls. |
| Rook's scanner beeps. They get closer to the tunnel. | |
| Rook | We have something. |
| Ben and Rook go through the tunnel and emerge in Undertown. Rook and Ben observe Rook's scanner. Ester appears to be nearby. They look around. Ben spots something peculiar. | |
| Ben | Bet it's that. |
| Ben and Rook walk up to a shop. The scanner's beeping intensifies. | |
| Rook | An old thermo-electric generator. Space junk. |
| Generator Vendor | Not junk. A bargain. 12 Taydens. |
| Ben shakes his head in disappointment. Rook turns off his scanner. Ben places a few Taydens on the counter and purchases a bottle of water. He drinks some water and pours the rest of it over himself. | |
| Ben | It's even hotter down here than it is up there! |
| Rook | (Pointing at his scanner) Perhaps I can recalibrate... |
| Ben spots something above them. | |
| Ben | Uh, Rook? Don't bother. |
| Ben and Rook see Ester running on the pipelines overhead. Ben and Rook grapple onto the pipeline and follow Ester. Ester reaches a dead end. | |
| Ben | Hold it! |
| Ester | You turned human. |
| Ben | I do that. |
| Rook | Hand over the fusion engine, please. |
| Ester | What if I told you I couldn't? |
| Ben | It's not a matter of "could". Two of us, one of you. |
| Ester | (Steps back slowly) You sure you won't just trust me on this? No? |
| Ester leaps onto the lower pipes and runs. Ben follows while Rook stays on the higher pipe and uses his Proto-Tool to break off a pipe to obstruct Ester. She changes course. Ben transforms into Eatle. He tears off and eats a piece of a pipe. | |
| Rook jumps down ahead of Ester. Ester attacks Rook but he manages to dodge her. Rook retaliates but Ester dodges. They trade a few quick blows and Ester uses her elastic powers to push Rook back. Eatle jumps and shoots a laser blast to break Ester and Rook off. He lands on the pipe. | |
| Eatle | Gotcha! |
| The pipe begins to crack due to their weight. | |
| Ester | You sure? |
| The pipes breaks and they fall down. Eatle stands over Ester and has procured her container. | |
| Ester | Ow! |
| Eatle | Hmm, I'm pretty sure. |
| Seebik | Get off her! |
| Eatle looks to his left and sees a group of people walking towards them, equipped with weapons. | |
| Seebik | Off! |
| Eatle backs away. Ester gets up. | |
| Seebik | Give us the fusion engine. |
| Eatle | Who are you? |
| Seebik | We're the Kraaho. I'm Seebik. |
| Lackno | Uh, can we do this quickly, Seebik? I can see my breath. |
| Eatle | You're cold? What's your problem? |
| Seebik | You're the one with the problem. The fusion engine. |
| Rook | You are not getting it. |
| Eatle | Not without a fight. |
| Eatle times out and turns back into Ben. Ben frowns, Rook sighs in disappointment. Ester smirks, she takes the container from Ben and throws it to Seebik, who catches it with his elastic arm. | |
| Ben | Is everyone around here made of rubber? |
| Ester | (Goes closer to the Kraaho) Only the winners. |
Act 2
| Speaker | Dialogue |

| Ben | I'm warning you. |
| Ester | Yes? |
| Ben attempts to dial up an alien on the Omnitrix but it is still timed out. | |
| Ben | I got nothing. |
| Ester | Let's do this again sometime... This or anything else, I guess. (Winks) |
| Ben | Huh? |
| Rook shakes his head, disappointed. | |
| Lackno | C-c-c-can we get going, Seebik? I'm f-freezing. |
| Seebik | Ester, stop talking to that cold-cut. |
| Ester frowns and walks away, but looks back at Ben and smiles. | |
| Rook | (Whispering to Ben) These are Tungsten-based life forms, no doubt. |
| Ben | Uh-huh. Totally. |
| Lackno | S-Seebik, two more minutes and I'm an ice sculpture. |
| Seebik | Alright, Lackno! But first, finish him off. (Points at Ben) |
| Ester | Seebik, that's Ben Tennyson! |
| Ben | Don't forget Rook! Better 'off' him, too. I'd totally let you guys go but this guy never gives up. |
| Rook doesn't quite understand what Ben meant but he smiles and nods. | |
| Seebik | (To Ester) Back to the hot spot! |
| Ester | But... you never said you... This isn't the Kraaho way! |
| Seebik | The Kraaho way is what I say it is! Go, now! |
| Ester can only sigh in anger. The Kraaho approach and surround Ben and Rook. They extend and join their arms. They repeatedly thump their feet on the ground. Ben and Rook look around. | |
| Rook | They seem to want to 'off' us with some sort of ritualized 'offing'. |
| Ben | (Activates his Omnitrix) Thank you, tribal culture channel. |
| Ben transforms into Gravattack and pumps his right fist onto his left hand. | |
| Gravattack | Okay, then. Take off! |
| Gravattack slams his foot down and makes the Kraaho float in the air. He creates a gravitational force-field around himself and Rook. | |
| Gravattack | First, I make you weightless, and then- |
| The Omnitrix times out and Gravattack turns back into Ben. The Kraaho fall down. | |
| Ben | Then, I time out. |
| Rook | I thought you said 15 minutes! |
| Ben | (Trying to activate the Omnitrix) Give or take. |
| The Kraaho get back up. Suddenly, Ester turns on a water pipe and hits the Kraaho with water, freezing them. | |
| Ester | Sorry. I can't let you do this. |
| The Kraaho | I'm f-f-freezing! Aah! I can't see! Over there! Ow! Watch it! |
| There is a huge puff of smoke. Rook and Ben emerge out of it. Ester grabs Ben and runs. | |
| Ester | Come on! |
| Rook follows. The smoke clears. Seebik looks on angrily while Lackno makes strange, discomforted noises. | |
| Ben, Rook and Ester walk through a tunnel. | |
| Ester | Hurry! |
| Ben | Wait. I can't run away. Doesn't matter if those guys are made of Tungsten or tuna fish. I gotta stop 'em. |
| Ester | They have what they want. They won't be any more trouble. |
| Rook | Everything about this is trouble. |
| Ben | Yeah, including yo-unh! |
| Ester grabs Ben and runs again. | |
| They emerge out of the tunnels in the middle of a street in Bellwood. | |
| Ester | The Kraaho can't follow us up here. Too cold. |
| Ben | Sure, 'cause it's only a 100 degrees... in the shade. |
| Rook | The Kraaho need extreme heat, yet you seem fine without it. |
| Ben sweats and struggles due to the heat. | |
| Ester | I'm only half-Kraaho. To me, it's just nippy out. (Stretches) |
| Rook | And the fusion engine? |
| Ester | They needed that to keep warm. |
| Ben | And now they have what they need, so... problem solved? |
| Ester | Exactly. Ben gets it. You're overthinking everything. |
| Ben | I wouldn't say- |
| N-8 | It's Ester! |
| ML-E | Ester! |
| Kineceleran Kids | YAY! ESTER! |
| A group of Kineceleran kids jump with joy as they were about to play a game of hockey. | |
| Ester | Friends of mine. |
| E-N | Come play with us. |
| N-D | Yeah! |
| Ester joins them while Ben and Rook stay behind. | |
| ML-E | (To Ben and Rook) Come on, you guys! |
| Ben smiles and walks towards them but Rook stops him. | |
| Rook | We were chasing a thief, and there she is. |
| Ben | Yeah, and she saved us, dude. Loosen up. (Walks away) |
| Rook | (Sighs) "Problem solved, dude! She saved us, dude! Loosen yourself, dude." (Sighs and facepalms) |
| ML-E | (To Ben) Wanna play with us? |
| Ester | He's playing! (Throws hockey stick, Ben catches) Come on, player. (Winks) |
| A car honks. | |
| DJ | Car! |
| They step aside as the car speeds by. | |
| Kineceleran Kids | Here we go! Let's do this! Hahaha! |
| Everybody except Ben move around and play swiftly. Ben struggles to keep up and falls down. | |
| Kineceleran Kids | Over here! I'm open! Let's go! |
| Ben | Hey! |
| E-N hits the hockey puck but Ester stops it. She spins her hockey stick and hits the hockey puck. The Kineceleran Kids move away. Ben gets up but the puck hits him on the head and he falls down again. | |
| Ben | Unh! |
| DJ | Car! |
| The Kids move out of the way and drag Ben with them. ML-E drags Ben back and he gets up. | |
| Ben | Uhh... Ahh. |
| ML-E | We can go easy if you want. |
| Ben | Go easy? |
| Ben activates the Omnitrix and transforms into XLR8. | |
| XLR8 | It's on like Computron! |
| XLR8 speeds through the street with the hockey stick. Ester prepares herself. XLR8 hits the puck in a flash, Ester didn't have a chance to stop it. The bucket being used as a goal goes flying. | |
| Kineceleran Kids | Whoo-hoo! Yeah! |
| XLR8 changes back into Ben. Ester smiles. Rook looks on with a grim face. | |
| The Kineceleran Kids feel hot and thirsty. | |
| Ben | (Chuckles) Who wants to cool off? |
| Ben transforms into Waterhazard and shoots water into the air, causing water droplets to fall on the kids. A rainbow is also formed. The Kids cheer and run along. | |
| Waterhazard | Hey, Ester... (Prepares to shoot water at her) |
| Ester | No! No! Aah! |
| Waterhazard sprays water over Ester. Rook looks on and walks away. | |
| The Kineceleran Kids play a game with a skipping rope. | |
| Kineceleran Kids | Android ella, dressed in yella, went topside to kiss a fella! |
| Ben walks up to Ester and puts a towel over her head. Ester shivers and blows at Ben, creating snowflakes. Ben laughs, Ester blushes. Ester laughs and runs away. Ben looks at her and smiles. Rook walks up to Ben. | |
| Rook | She likes you, Ben-Dude! |
| Ben | Everyone likes me. I'm the hero. |
| Rook | Yes, but she is not innocent. (They look at Ester playing with the kids) The party is over. You must tell her. Be the hero, Ben... before I am forced to poop this party. |
| Rook looks at Ben sternly while Ben is distraught. | |
| Back at the hot springs, the Kraaho construct a huge machine and use the Nuclear Fusion Device to power it. | |
| Lackno | Uh, it's ready. |
| Seebik | Fire the laser! |
| The machine is powered up. | |
| Lackno | How long will this take? I've been cold so long, I've got frostbite on my- |
| Seebik | LACKNO! Enough with the "how cold is it" jokes! |
| Lackno | ...on my frostbite. |
| Engineer Kraaho | Seebik! The laser struck magma! |
| Seebik | Here we go! Valves open! Pumps on! |
| The machine creates spouts of magma that warm the cavern. | |
| Seebik | Ahh. Finally! |
| Lackno | Yeah. Yeah, I was so cold that- (Looks at Seebik. Clears throat.) Never mind. |
| Seebik | Now let's clear some room for... what do they call it topside? |
| Lackno | Bellwood. |
| The magma erupts aggressively. | |
| Seebik | Make way for new Bellwood. |
| Magma and lava start to erupt in Bellwood from under the ground. | |
Act 3
| Speaker | Dialogue |

| There is mass panic among the citizens of Bellwood as lava sprouts and flows in the city. The lava causes major destruction. | |
| The Kineceleran Kids run away in panic. Ben, Rook and Ester observe the lava, shocked. | |
| Ester | I swear I didn't know! |
| Rook | That the Krahho would use the fusion engine to do this? This is their work, isn't it? |
| Ester tilts her head away, distraught. | |
| Ben | We're past the blame stage. IT'S HERO TIME! |
| Lava continues to flow. Ben jumps onto a car. He transforms into Arctiguana. | |
| Arctiguana | Arctiguana? Cool! |
| Arctiguana releases a powerful ice blast that freezes the lava. Arctiguana turns back into Ben. | |
| ML-E | Ester, you're okay! |
| Ben | (Gets down from the car) For now. |
| Rook | The lava is still coming? (They see lava continue to flow) What will happen when it flows down into Undertown? |
| ML-E | (Gasps) My parents! |
| Rook | Miss, we need that fusion engine back. The Kraaho are using you. |
| Ester | They said they wanted to make it warmer, down there. |
| Ben | Down where? That place they told you to go to, right? The hot spot? |
| Ester | You're asking me to betray my people. |
| Ben | Asking? I'm begging you. |
| Ester ponders. | |
| Back at the hot spot, the Kraaho have removed their overcoats, except Lackno. They prepare their weapons. | |
| Lackno | It's a miracle, Seebik! You turned this frozen wasteland into an oasis! |
| Seebik | As soon as New Bellwood's warm and the stragglers dealt with... How does the name "New Earth" strike you? |
| Ester | (Gasps) Seebik! (Walks closer to him) You lied to me! |
| Seebik | How long can we stay in this cavern? A generation? Two, maybe? We need a world, Ester. |
| Ester | This world doesn't belong to you. You can't roast it! |
| Seebik | It's not up for debate! My word is law! |
| Ester stares at Seebik angrily. Ben and Rook observe this from a small tunnel high above the cavern. Ben transforms into NRG. | |
| NRG | Create a distraction. I'll get the fusion device. |
| Rook nods and goes ahead. | |
| Rook stands on a slightly elevated part of the cavern behind the crowd of Kraaho. | |
| Rook | (Waving his arms) HEY! HEY! Eyes on me! (Everybody turn around and look at Rook) Today, we will learn an Earth game called 'tag'. |
| The Kraaho mutter in confusion. Rook walks up to a Kraaho and touches him. | |
| Rook | You are it! Whoooo-hoo-hoo! Whoo-hoo-hoo! |
| Rook runs and the Kraaho chase him. | |
| NRG | I'm way better at distractions. |
| Ester and Seebik watch the Kraaho chase Rook. | |
| Seebik | You brought him here? Your father would be ashamed of you! |
| Rook continues running. The Kraaho shoot at him. Rook jumps high over an obstacle. He sweats profusely but he continues the distraction. One Kraaho jumps ahead of him, blocking his way. Rook turns around but another Kraaho blocks him. The Kraaho surround him and charge their weapons. Rook is startled but shakes off his nervousness. | |
| Rook | Um... Very good! Now, who wants to learn the electric slide? |
| The Kraaho just angrily ready their weapons. Rook brings out his Proto-Tool and prepares himself to fight. He takes down one Kraaho swiftly. Another Kraaho aims his weapon at Rook. Rook quickly uses his Proto-Tool to slice the weapon. Another Kraaho charges at Rook and tries to hit him with their elastic arms but Rook kicks them away. He takes down a few more Kraaho and runs, panting heavily. Several Kraaho chase him. Seebik runs ahead to join the fight. Two Kraaho hold Ester. | |
| Rook continues defeating the Kraaho. Seebik jumps high to attack Rook but he dodges at the last moment. Seebik takes off his overcoat. Rook attacks Seebik but he is a match for him. Seebik uses his elastic ability to slam Rook into a wall. Rook groans in pain. | |
| Ester | Rook! |
| Ester extends her arms and throws the two Kraaho at Seebik, making him let Rook go. Seebik gets up and Ester attacks him. Rook is exhausted especially due to the heat, but he doesn't let up. He is surrounded by more Kraaho. | |
| Rook | Hurry, Ben! |
| The Kraaho attack him but Rook defeats them one by one, skillfully. He is extremely tired. He falls down. | |
| NRG climbs up the machine which has the fusion device. Seebik spots him. | |
| Seebik | Keep that cold-cut away from the engine! |
| Two of the Kraaho climb up, one onto NRG, the other just beside him. | |
| NRG | Get off me! |
| The other one pushes him and they fall down. The Kraaho try to open up his suit. | |
| NRG | No! Please! Whatever you do, keep the suit closed! Don't open me up! That will end NRG! |
| The Kraaho keep trying and they manage to open up NRG's suit. NRG's true from releases a powerful burst of energy, shoving the Kraaho away from him. NRG hovers in the air. | |
| NRG | Suckers! Haha! |
| He uses his heat powers to slice open the container and grabs the fusion device. Seebik sees this, pushes Ester aside and runs towards the machine. | |
| Seebik | Warriors, don't let him- |
| NRG gobbles up the fusion device. | |
| Seebik | -do that. |
| NRG consumes the device and lets out a huge, radioactive burp. He chews for a while. | |
| NRG | That is good fusion engine. |
| NRG blasts at the Kraaho's machine, obliterating it. This stops the lava flow in Bellwood. | |
| NRG gets back into his suit and changes back into Ben. | |
| Seebik | Well... you've won. Happy? |
| Ester | You haven't exactly lost. We'll do just fine here in the hot spot. |
| Ben | It is practically another part of Undertown. You even have your own private hot springs. (Points at it) |
| Seebik | Coexistence, living next to a city of cold-cuts? That's not the Kraaho way. |
| Ester | No, Seebik. It's not your way. I see that now. But it was my father's way. |
| Ben | Yeah! Wait, who was your father? |
| Ester | He was the leader before Seebik. |
| The Kraaho, including Seebik, bow down to Ester. | |
| Ben | What are you doing? |
| Seebik | Anything she wants. She's defeated me. |
| Ester | Aaaand? |
| Seebik | (Chagrined) And the Kraaho way is whatever you say it is. |
| Ester | (Cheerfully) Coexistence. |
| Lackno | You'd allow it? |
| Ben | As long as you don't step out of line. If you do, well... (Points at his Omnitrix) |
| Ester | As leader of the Kraaho, I swear this day, that I will always be a good neighbor to you, Ben Tennyson. (Hugs Ben) |
| Ben | Uh, yeah. Well, easy, now. Rook has to go patrol his... right, Rook? |
| Rook lies down, exhausted. He adjusts his Proto-Tech Armor for ventilation. | |
| Rook | (In a low voice) Water. |
| Ben and Rook arrive at a lemonade stall. | |
| Ben | Lemonade? |
| Rook drinks up one glass, then another. Then he drinks up an entire container of lemonade. Ben looks on, shocked. | |
| Rook | (Panting) Thank you. |
| Kineceleran Kids | Hey, it's Ester's boyfriend! Hey, Ester's boyfriend! Hi, Ester's boyfriend! Ester has a boyfriend! |
| ML-E | Where's Ester? |
| Rook | Still at large. |
| Ben | Not her fault the fusion engine was never recovered. (Rook sternly stares at Ben) She's not my girlfriend! We're just... friends. Just... Hey, wait a second. Do you think I have a shot with her? |
| Rook | Whaaat? |
| Ben and Rook look on as the Kineceleran Kids play over the frozen lava from earlier. | |
