| At a prison, a young sorceress is seen taking down several police guards with magic. She tries to cast a spell to bust the door open. | |
| Charmcaster | (casting) Fallum Quarca Daminigan! |
| The spell breaks the door down and reveals Hex. | |
| Hex | Charmcaster, I've been waiting. |
| Charmcaster | Hmm, major jailbreaks aren't exactly easy to pull off you know. |
| Hex | You will show me respect, my dear niece, or you will suffer the consequences. |
| Charmcaster | Yes, Uncle. |
| Hex | My staff. |
| Charmcaster pulls out the Staff of Ages. | |
| Charmcaster | Uh, the magic must have drained out of it or something. It doesn't work, but I swear it's not my fault. |
| Hex | (takes the staff from Charmcaster) Its powers can be brought to life only if the hands of a master magician. |
| Hex blasts two police guards with his Staff of Ages. | |
| Hex | Now to find the keystone. The moment of alignment is nearly upon us. Once I have completed the ritual and gained its powers, I shall take my revenge on the one responsible for imprisoning me in this festering sewer! |

| At a highway, a tour bus with several citizens inside is about to fall down but is saved by Ben as Four Arms. | |
| Four Arms | It's okay, everybody. Everything's alright now. |
| Harold | So you're not gonna help us, Mr. Strong Man Guy? Who raised you, anyway? |
| Mildred | Oh, be a dear and carry me, would you? My bunions are killing me. |
| Edith | Your bunions, my butt! My new hip's out of whack! I'm first! |
| Four Arms groans and decides to help them off. Meanwhile, in the Rustbucket Gwen is looking at magical artifacts and is observing her Lucky Girl mask. | |
| Gwen | Lucky Girl. I wish you were more than just a Halloween costume. |
| Ben | Ugh, sometimes this hero stuff gets way old. |
| Max | You should be proud of yourself, Ben. Those folks would've been in a real pickle without you. |
| Ben | I know, but I just like one regular summer day where I could just hang out all day along and do nothing. You know, like Gwen. |
| Gwen | You should appreciate what you have. I only got to be Lucky Girl for a few hours. |
| Ben | Really? Was that it? 'Cause with all the bragging you did it felt like weeks! (laughs) |
| Gwen throws a pillow at Ben's face. | |
| Ben | The worst part of all was when all those grannies wanted me to go with them to some lame old magic convention in Las Vegas, as if! |
| Gwen | Magic convention? |
| At a place, Hex and Charmcaster are standing near a campfire. | |
| Hex | (casting) Darkara Dorokey Aghosto. |
| Charmcaster | Okay, well, nice seeing you again, Uncle. I'm out of here. |
| Hex blasts a magic beam from the staff to force her to stay. | |
| Hex | You may leave my service only when I say you can. |
| Charmcaster | Yes, uncle. |
| The Tennysons arrive at the magic convention in Las Vegas, they walk past people practicing magic tricks. | |
| Gwen | (sees the sign above) "Magician of the Year Expo?" It's all cheap junk and gross-out tricks. I thought it was going to be 'magic' magic, not cheesy magic. |
| Ben | Ho ho, check it out fake bugs and ice cubes, fake barf, fake dog poo. |
| Max | Yeah, we get it Ben. Well as long as we're here, we might as well look around. |
| Gwen walk up to a magic jewel booth that offers magical charms. | |
| Gwen | I don't suppose you have any real magical artifacts? |
| Magical Jewel Lady | What you see is what you get honey. |
| Gwen finds a gauntlet with one of the Charms of Bezel on it. Gwen puts it on her wrist. | |
| Gwen | I'll take it. |
| Max | Find something you like? |
| Gwen | Yeah, it kind of reminds me of- |
| Screaming is heard. A man is hanging from a rope attached to a flying helicopter, and it seems that the helicopter is breaking down. | |
| Helicopter Victim | Help! Somebody help me! |
| Max | I don't think that's part of the act. |
| Max and Gwen turn to Ben. | |
| Ben | I know, I know. Hero time! |
| Ben activates his Omnitrix and transforms into Stinkfly and clings to the helicopter. | |
| Stinkfly | Everything's under control. |
| The blade pops off the helicopter. | |
| Stinkfly | Or not. |
| The blade heads to Max's way without him realizing. | |
| Gwen | Grandpa, look out! |
| Gwen jumps and saves Max. | |
| Max | Gwen, how'd you do that? |
| Gwen | Just lucky I guess. |
| Stinkfly spits slime to create threads and stop the helicopter. | |
| Stinkfly | A few seconds longer. |
| The victim falls from the rope. Gwen in Lucky Girl costume jumps and saves him. | |
| Stinkfly | Lucky Girl? |
| The people cheer for Gwen. | |
| Gwen | Don't even start with me about cramping your superhero style. |
| Stinkfly | Hey, I'm just happy to finally get a little backup. But how'd you get your Lucky Girl powers back? |
| In the Rustbucket, Gwen is doing some research on the charm bracelet in the RV. | |
| Gwen | One of the Charms of Bezel. |
| Ben | But you destroyed all those in that cemetery fighting that Hex creep. |
| We are shown Gwen destroying the Charms of Bezel with a shovel in the last time they encountered them. | |
| Gwen | (VO) I thought I did... |
| Flashback ends. | |
| Gwen | ...but this is the legendary lost keystone. It's rumour to increase 10 times the powers and skills of the one who possesses it. |
| Max | Well the legends seem to be fact, not fiction. |
| Ben | You are so lucky. |
| Gwen | It's not luck, it's magic. |
| At the magic convention, a magic show is commencing. | |
| Announcer | And remember, the magician of the year will be crowned in just a few hours during the solar eclipse. Now please welcome our next contestant, the Amazing Alan! |
| Alan appears in the stage. | |
| Amazing Alan | For my first trick, I need a volunteer. |
| Ben | Ben Tennyson, at your service! |
| Max | What's he up to? |
| Amazing Alan | (stuffs Ben inside the box) And boy goes in, but what comes out will amaze and surprise you! |
| Ben | (giggles) He won't be the only one. |
| Amazing Alan | Abracadabra... make way! |
| Suddenly, the box glows green and Wildmutt bursts out. Then, a red fog hovers above the building and enters the convention, the dust disappears, revealing Hex and Charmcaster. | |
| Gwen | Hex! |
| Amazing Alan | Hey! Wait your turn pal, you're ruining my act. |
| Hex | I have no time for amateurs. |
| Hex uses a spell to lift Amazing Alan and throws him at Wildmutt. | |
| Hex | Give me the Keystone of Bezel! |
Act 2
| Speaker | Dialogue |

| Hex | If it's magic you want, it's magic you shall have. |
| Hex generates magic explosive fog around the convention. | |
| Max | Hex is up to his old tricks. |
| Gwen | Looks like a job for Lucky Girl. |
| Hex | Hand over the keystone or I shall destroy you all! |
| Gwen | You forgot to say pretty please. |
| Gwen jumps into action in Lucky Girl Costume. | |
| Hex | The keystone and Lucky Girl, how convenient. |
| Wildmutt pounces on Hex. | |
| Hex | Charmcaster, do, do something. |
| Charmcaster | Yes uncle. |
| Charmcaster throws metal donut-shaped disks at Wildmutt. Hex uses his strength to force Wildmutt off him. Gwen charges at Charmcaster, only for the latter to throw metal disks at her. Charmcaster has a bowling pin thrown on her by Max, she retaliates by using her magic to make a giant metal disk chase him. Gwen jumps and kicks her. | |
| Gwen | Since you're paling around with Hex, you are no friend of mine. |
| Hex | (puts his hand on Gwen's bracelet) There are two kinds of luck child, let me show you the bad kind. |
| Gwen | Guess what? I'm not just lucky anymore, I am totally kick-butt. (forces Hex off of her) |
| Hex | Even with your new powers you are no match for a master magician. |
| While Hex is busy tryna destroy Gwen, Wildmutt is trying to push a radio on him. | |
| Hex | ...now give me the Keystone! |
| Hex notices that it is about to fall on him but he dodges. | |
| Gwen | Finders keepers "skull-face!" |
| Charmcaster | And losers weepers. (throws some Magic rock models next to her) |
| Gwen | Is that the best you got? |
| Suddenly, they morph into Rock Monsters. | |
| Gwen | (nervously) Then again, that's pretty good. |
| Wildmutt pounces on Charmcaster. | |
| Charmcaster | (groaning) Get off of me dog-breath! |
| Charmcaster uses magic to get Wildmutt off of her. | |
| Charmcaster | (throws magic grenades at Wildmutt) See you around fido! |
| Gwen destroys some Rock Monsters. Max launches a trolley at Charmcaster. | |
| Hex | Enough! |
| Hex uses a vortex spell to launch Gwen and Max in a hedge maze. | |
| Max | Where's Ben? |
| Rock Monster models get launched by Gwen and Max. They run away for them to morph into Rock Monsters and chase them. Hex and Charmcaster arrive in the hedge maze. | |
| Hex | (to Charmcaster) Circle around, and drive them toward me, like lamb to the slaughter. |
| Charmcaster | Yes uncle. |
| They scatter to search for Gwen and Max. | |
| Max | This way! |
| Gwen and Max go separate ways, then a Rock Monster spots Max. | |
| Max | Aah! |
| Wildmutt jumps in and destroys the Rock Monster. The Omnitrix times out and Wildmutt reverts into Ben. | |
| Max | Ben, you okay? |
| Ben | Yeah, where's Lucky Girl? |
| The scene changes to Gwen scattering through the maze. | |
| Gwen | Alright Hex, time for a surprise party. |
| Gwen jumps and instead of Hex behind the bushes, it is actually Charmcaster who the former kicks. | |
| Gwen | Not so tough without your bag of tricks now, are you? |
| Charmcaster | I... I didn't mean to hurt anybody. My uncle made me do it I swear. |
| Gwen | Why should we believe you? |
| Charmcaster | My name's Charmcaster, I'm Hex's niece, you know what he's like, he doesn't take no for an answer. I can help you, he's after the Keystone and the bracelet. |
| Gwen | Duh. He wants it to magnify his powers. |
| Charmcaster | That's not all. If he performs the ritual with the Keystone of Bezel at the highest point during the eclipse, he can recreate all the other charms you destroyed. |
| Hex | (offscreen) Making new friends Charmcaster? |
| Hex arrives in the scene and is torturing Ben and Max with a levitation spell. | |
| Hex | Give me the Keystone, or watch them suffer our painful demise. |
| Charmcaster | I won't let you do this uncle. |
| Charmcaster fires Rock Monster bats at Hex, making him float and drive him away. | |
| Hex | Charmcaster, how dare you betray me! |
| The levitation spell wears off Ben and Max. | |
| Meanwhile, Hex lands in a paradise bath. | |
| Gwen | I guess you are legit. Now, let's finish the job before Hex can dry off. |
| Charmcaster | My uncle's gonna be really, really mad at me. |
| Gwen | Okay then go with our grandpa, Ben and I will handle your uncle. |
| Charmcaster | Oh thank you, thank you! (hugs Gwen) |
| Ben and Gwen run to confront Hex. | |
| Gwen | (to Ben) Is it just me or was that really weird? |
| Ben | You're a superhero now, trust me people act weird around us. |
| They arrive at the bath to confront Hex who is making a fountain spell out of the water. | |
| Ben | Ugh, my watch is still in the red, we have to wait. |
| Gwen | We can't! (dives in the pool) |
| Hex dismounts the fountain spell. Ben is about to run up to Hex but is lifted up by his levitation spell. | |
| Hex | (grabs Gwen's bracelet) Give me the key! |
| Gwen | (groaning) |
| Hex | (lets go of Gwen's bracelet) We'll see each other soon and finish our business then. |
| Hex teleports away in red fog. | |
| Ben | Uh, what just happened? |
| Gwen | (gasps) The Keystone, it's gone! Charmcaster! |
| Scene switches to Hex and Charmcaster at the top of a building. | |
| Hex | Playing innocent was genius, though you should've informed me first. |
| Charmcaster | Yes uncle, (gives Hex the Keystone) but I had to think fast when the Lucky Girl (offscreen) surprised me. |
| Hex | No matter, soon I shall have enough power to destroy all my enemies and rule the world! |
Act 3
| Speaker | Dialogue |

| Outside the Rustbucket. | |
| Max | (headache) I go away for just a second and WHAM! When I came too, Charmcaster was gone. |
| Gwen | All that "my uncle made me do it" stuff was just an act, she needed to get close enough to me to steal the Keystone. (takes off her mask) Some hero I turned out to be. |
| Ben | Right now, all you should care about is how to stop Hex and Charmcaster before they recreate those other charms. |
| Max | She said the ritual would be performed at the highest point during the eclipse. |
| Gwen | And the highest point around here is... (looks at tall building) |
| Meanwhile, Hex and Charmcaster land on the tall building. Some people make it to the top with an elevator, but they close the elevator doors for Hex to meld it with his magic. | |
| Hex | I do NOT want to be disturbed! - (casting) Barban Hextida Zerzam! Barban Hextida Zerzam! |
| Hex makes the Keystone float in the sky, causing the Moon to synchronize with the Sun. | |
| Ben, Gwen and Max arrive at a place where there is a live audience of people watching. | |
| Max | We're running out of time! The eclipse is only a few minutes away. |
| Gwen | Guess it's all up to you, Ben. |
| Ben | I'll need some help, still feeling Lucky? |
| Gwen | What can I do without my powers? |
| Ben | Hey, you never needed powers to help out before. |
| Gwen | (grins) (notices the elevator is unavailable) Elevator's out, how are we gonna get up there? |
| Ben | Easy for Stinkfly! (notices the Omnitrix is still on Recharge Mode) Oh man, that stinks! Stupid watch isn't working yet! |
| Max | But that window washer's platform is. (points at it) |
| Ben | And I have an idea for my own ride. (runs somewhere) |
| Back at the spell sequence. | |
| Hex | Barban Hextida Zerzam! Barban Hextida Zerzam! |
| Gwen | (offscreen) Did you really think you could ditch me that easily? (levitating in the sky) - Now give me back the Keystone or deal with the awesome powers of Lucky Girl! |
| Charmcaster | This is totally bogus. She can't have any powers, it's some kind of stupid trick! |
| Hex uses a telekinetic spell to lift Gwen and Max up, revealing the latter to have never been levitating at all, just Max holding her legs up - then he discards the spell and drops both of them on the ground. | |
| Hex charges his staff with energy. | |
| Hex | Your silly stunt has gave you nothing! |
| Gwen | You should know better then anyone that magic is about misdirection! |
| Hex is confused - he turns around to see Ben driving into him with his X321 Hoverboard. | |
| Ben | Woo-hoo, I forgot how much fun this thing is! |
| Max is waving his arms in the air at Ben, trying to get his attention. | |
| Ben | Hey Grandpa! |
| Max | Ben, Hex is- |
| Hex climbs upon the Hoverboard, and kicks Ben and the latter is about to fall off and grunts. | |
| Hex | I shall not be denied my destiny as ruler of the world! |
| Ben | That ain't gonna happen! |
| Hex continues trying to hit him with his staff numerous times. | |
| -- | |
| Gwen | Hey Charmcaster, heard any good stories lately? |
| Charmcaster throws magic grenades at Gwen and Max before they can strike, launching them into a rollercoaster trail. The former uses her magic to start the rollercoaster -- Back to Ben and Hex's fight - Ben's Omnitrix is active again and stop's at Four Arm's silhouette. | |
| Ben | Yes! It's time for Four Arms of fun! |
| Ben gets hit off his Hoverboard by Hex, falling down. Ben slams the Omnitrix and transforms into Wildvine instead of Four Arms. | |
| Wildvine | Wildvine? |
| Wildvine uses his elastic plant fingers to grab onto a building a swings back onto the Hoverboard - then the Hoverboard makes them swing back onto the building, crash-landing. Charmcaster spots Wildvine and throws magic grenades at him, but they miss, then he notices Gwen and Max on the rollercoaster ride and gasps. | |
| Gwen | We're NOT GONNA MAKE IT! (screams) |
| Wildvine | Gwen! |
| The rollercoaster is falling down, but Wildvine uses his elasticity to save them, he pulls the rollercoaster back up, Gwen is about to fall again, but is saved by Wildvine. | |
| Wildvine | (offscreen) Gotcha! |
| Suddenly, the spell is briefly complete, as the Sun synchronizes in the exact spot. | |
| Hex | I will take it from here, Charmcaster. |
| Charmcaster | That would be a big "no", uncle. Change of plans, I get the power of the Keystone and the charms, and you get squat! (blasts Hex back with magic, knocking him unconscious) I just needed a "master magician" to perform the recreation ritual, and now that that's done... Now, where was I? |
| Charmcaster continues the spell. | |
| Charmcaster | The power of Bezel will soon be mine! |
| Gwen | Show's over, Charmcaster! |
| Charmcaster | (cackles) That staff only works in the hands of a "master magician." |
| Gwen uses the Staff to blast Charmcaster back. | |
| Gwen | Okay, how come that worked? |
| The spell is still commencing, with the charms in the air with the combines Sun and Moon - Wildvine uses his elasticity to grab the charms, make them explode and stop the spell, making the energy from Charmcaster and the staff weave out. | |
| Hex | Do you know what you've done? |
| Wildvine | Saved the day? |
| The energy comes out from Hex and he screams - the Keystone is dropped from the sky and the Moon unsynchronizes with the Sun and the day is saved! The Omnitrix times out and Wildvine reverts into Ben. | |
| Gwen puts the Keystone back on her gauntlet. | |
| Gwen | Oh, looks like the magic's gone, and Lucky Girl along with it. |
| Ben | Aah, don't be too bummed, there's other ways you can be a hero. |
| Gwen | (looks at the X321 hoverboard) Like riding on a hoverboard? |
| Ben | Y'know, to get good on one of these things takes a lot of practice. |
| Gwen | Then I better get started. |
| Gwen climbs on Ben's hoverboard and flies around. | |
| Ben | Wait! Wait a minute! |
| Gwen | Woo! (giggles) |
