| The episode begins with Ben, in the Rustbucket, and a kid in a nearby car making funny faces at each other. | |
| Gwen | I'd warn you that your face might freeze like that, but in your case, it would be an improvement. |
| The kid in the other car then decides to eat his burger and shows it all chewed up to Ben. | |
| Ben | (Disgusted) Ohh, man. The seafood special. Time to pull out the secret weapon. |
| Ben bends down so he can't be seen, activates the Omnitrix and transforms into Stinkfly. He emerges and makes horrifying faces and sounds. The kid is scared out of his wits and screams, prompting his father to look at Stinkfly. The father is scared too and speeds ahead of the RV. Stinkfly lies down on the floor and laughs. | |
| Gwen | There is such a thing as 'taking a joke too far', you know. |
| Stinkfly continues to laugh. He sees that Gwen is about to sit down. Stinkfly sprays slime onto her seat and she sits on it. | |
| Gwen | (Gasps and grumbles at Stinkfly) |
| Stinkfly | Impossible. Funny is funny. |
| Max | Ben, better get up here. |
| The RV screeches to a halt and Stinkfly goes sliding to the front. | |
| Max | Oh, good. You're all ready to go. We got trouble ahead. |
| They see a a propane truck has overturned and the truck driver is stuck inside. There is also a fire spreading just outside the truck. | |
| Driver | HELP! (Bangs the door) |
| Bystander | The door's stuck! He can't get out! |
| Driver | HELP! |
| Max | If that propane he's hauling catches fire, that truck will become a rocket to the moon. |
| The driver looks on, terrified. | |

Act 1

| Stinkfly flies out of the RV and closer to the truck. The flames' intensity increases, making Stinkfly step back. | |
| Stinkfly | Ugh! Ouch! |
| Max | (To the crowd) Come on, folks. Give the... bug a chance to work. |
| Stinkfly | The fire's too intense. Ungh! I wish I was Heatblast. Hey, that gives me an idea. |
| Stinkfly takes to the air and shoots slime at the fire, extinguishing it. He then goes on top of the truck and uses his sharp tail to tear the metal off the roof. Stinkfly uses his hands to create a hole big enough to get the truck driver out. He picks the driver up and flies. | |
| Driver | AAAAAH! |
| Stinkfly safely drops the driver down. | |
| Stinkfly | Loogie saves lives. |
| Kid | (Tugging his father) AAAH! That's the monster that ate that kid! |
| Stinkfly | Wow, look at the time. Gotta fly! |
| Stinkfly flies away from the scene. | |
| The Tennysons continue along the road and approach a specific location. Gwen reads out the signs on the roadside. | |
| Gwen | "You'll have a ball with it!" "Next exit" |
| Ben | Come on, Grandpa. At least give us a hint of what "it" is. |
| Max | Uh-uh. No hints. I've been planning this stop all summer. |
| They reach their destination. Max walks out of the RV. He takes care of some things and then opens the door of the RV. | |
| Max | Now, both of you, close your eyes. |
| Ben and Gwen close their eyes and walk out of the RV. | |
| Max | Okay, open 'em up! Ta-da! Welcome to Sparksville! |
| Ben and Gwen open their eyes and see the huge billboard saying the same thing. They glance at the seemingly quiet and mundane town and its various stores and attractions. | |
| Max | Hah, is this place great or what? |
| Ben | Uh... I'll go with "or what". |
| Max | Come on! What's more exciting than the world's biggest fish bowl? (They look at the fish bowl.) |
| Ben | Um, everything?! |
| Earl | (In a monotone voice) As the mayor of Sparksville, I welcome you, as seekers of wonder. |
| The Tennysons look at Earl strangely for a short while. | |
| Max | (to Ben and Gwen) I know you guys are probably excited to see "it". So, I'll go check us in. |
| Max gives them a ticket each and walks away. Ben and Gwen look at each other and shrug. | |
| Ben and Gwen go to an exhibit named "The Jack-A-Lope". Ben rings the bell. Ben and Gwen are surprised to see Earl walk out as the ticket collector. | |
| Earl | Tickets, please. |
| Ben | I thought you were the mayor. (Gives tickets) |
| Earl | He who wears the crown is burdened by many hats, son. (Ben and Gwen go in) Mind the signs. |
| Ben and Gwen take various pictures, including in front of the jackalope building, an "American Gothic" painting cutout, a planetarium in which an employee is replacing the "sunlight" bulb, a giant house of cards, a giant hot-dog, Ben getting sprayed with ketchup and mustard, Gwen getting a hot-dog tossed at her, Ben wearing jackalope horns and Gwen wearing googly-eye glasses, the world's largest fishbowl (Ben and Gwen pretending to be fish), them sitting on a bench bored and an "it is this way" sign. They arrive at the barn with a sign "IT's Here". | |
| Earl | Through these doors lies the weirdest, wildest thing ever to find it's way to Sparksville. |
| The door opens and they enter. There is ominous darkness and various signs light up. Ben and Gwen read them out. | |
| Ben | Please tell me this is "it", because I can't stand "it" anymore. "Do not touch it!" |
| Gwen | "Do not photograph it! |
| Ben & Gwen | "Do not use batteries or electrical equipment anywhere near it!" |
| The light returns as Ben and Gwen see a huge sign reading "THIS IS IT". Ben and Gwen look on. The sign moves away and reveals a giant rubber-band ball. | |
| Ben | This is "it"? |
| Gwen | It's a big ball of rubber bands. |
| Earl | (In a suspenseful tone) And who knows what secrets lie within. |
| Ben | Uhh, more rubber bands? |
| Earl | Stay as long as you like. Mind the signs. (Walks away) |
| Ben | Look at this place. These guys are full of "it". We've been punked! |
| Gwen | It is pretty lame. I can't believe Grandpa was so excited about this place. |
| Ben smiles and walks closer to the ball. | |
| Gwen | I know that look, Ben. What're you thinking? |
| Ben goes behind the ball. He transforms into Four Arms and lifts up the ball. | |
| Four Arms | One good prank deserves another. |
| Gwen | For once, I agree with you. Got something special in mind? |
| Four Arms | I don't know. Maybe... the world's biggest booger? |
| Gwen laughs. Ben juggles the ball rather confidently. | |
| Gwen | Careful, dweeb! You'll drop it! |
| Four Arms | Not a chance! I could life this thing with three hands tied behind my- |
| Four Arms tries to hold the ball in one arm but he ends up losing the balance and ball bounces off. Gwen gets out of the way as the ball bounces off the floor and through the roof. | |
| Four Arms | (Gasp) |
| Gwen | Aah-AAAAAH! |
| Four Arms | Oops. |
| The ball continues to bounce after it left the barn. It knocks over several exhibits and crushes a food cart, and Four Arms was able to slow the ball down when it bounced towards him. The ball knocks over the house of cards and eventually stops. Four Arms goes down on his knees. Gwen slaps Four Arms on his shoulder. | |
| Four Arms | OW! What was that for? |
| Gwen | For turning me into a criminal. |
| Four Arms | (Gets up) Don't get your shorts in a twist. (Walks closer to the ball) I'll just put everything back the way it was. No problem. |
| The Omnitrix times out and Four Arms changes back into Ben. | |
| Ben | Okay. Maybe a little problem. |
| Ben leans against the giant ball, causing a small charge from the Omnitrix to be drawn into the ball, unbeknownst to Ben and Gwen. | |
| Gwen | What are we going to tell Grandpa? |
| Ben | Nothing. We just play dumb. |
| Gwen | Easy for you. You're a lot better at it than I am. |
| Gwen and Ben enter the motel through a door that appears to be a big mail slot. Inside, it appears that the entire room has been turned on its side, including the beds and the door. | |
| Max | Hey, there you are. Isn't this place a riot? |
| Gwen | (Tensed) Why? What'd you see? We don't know anything about it. |
| Ben | She means it's... great, Grandpa. Can't wait check out the bathroom. |
| Back at the rubber-band ball, the charge has spread all over the surface. A small electric bolt escapes from it and starts to circle the power lines and exhibits. It then puts a hole through the "Welcome to Sparksville" billboard, and then reveals itself as what appears to be a black-and-yellow battery-like creature. It observes its work as the billboard now reads "We•come to Sparksville", laughs maniacally, and zips away. | |

| Ben and Gwen are sleeping, while Max is just outside. | |
| Max | What the heck happened here? |
| Ben and Gwen wake up and fall out of bed. | |
| Gwen | Ah. He knows everything. We are so busted. We have to come clean and tell Grandpa everything. |
| Ben | (Rolling his eyes) Sometimes it's hard to believe you're really a kid. Never admit anything, until you absolutely have to. Got it? |
| Max | Benjamin. Gwendolyn. Get out here. |
| Ben and Gwen seem terrified. | |
| Gwen | Gwendolyn? We're doomed! |
| Ben and Gwen come outside and see that the entire place has been trashed, far more than what Four Arms had caused. | |
| Ben | Whhoooaa! What happened? |
| Max | I don't know. Looks like a tornado tore through here overnight. |
| The people of Sparksville look on at the destruction. | |
| Ben | Good. (Max looks at Ben) I-I mean... yeah. It was just one of those freaky nature things. Right, Gwen? |
| Gwen nods, trying to look innocent. Earl walks up to them. | |
| Earl | I think it's pretty clear who's responsible for these juvenile acts. |
| Max | Juvenile acts? (Looks at Ben and Gwen) Huh, if I didn't know better, that sounds like- |
| Earl | Oh, I'm not talking about these youngsters. |
| Ben, Gwen, Max | You're not?! |
| Ben and Gwen nervously smile as Max looks at them suspiciously. | |
| Max | Yeah, well, if they didn't do it... who did? |
| The little creature arrives and zips around Ben and Gwen, making silly poses and faces, and pulls Gwen's shirt over her head. It taps on Ben's shoulder to get his attention. It makes intimidating expressions while Ben simply looks on. The creature zips away. | |
| Ben | What was that? |
| Earl | Megawhatt. |
| Ben | Mega - what? |
| Earl | Exactly. Normally wrapped up tight inside of it... That is, until last night. (Ben and Gwen look at each other) Some say might be a ball of lightning come alive. Others think it's static cling run amok. Tough to say. |
| Gwen | Maybe it's an alien. |
| Earl | Alien? That's just plain kooky talk. |
| Near a soda machine, the Megawhatt sees the chance to cause even more trouble. It enters the machine and causes it to tremble. | |
| Ben | What's it doing? |
| Earl | It eats electricity. The more it gobbles, the more powerful it gets. |
| The Megawhatt causes the machine to fire canned drinks. Ben, Gwen and Max try to avoid getting hit while Earl calmly stands. | |
| Earl | It's also got a dangerous sense of humor. |
| The barrage continues, and the four take cover from a nearby overturned car. | |
| Max | You left that thing inside a rubber-band ball all this time? Isn't that kind of dangerous? |
| Earl | Not so long as people minded the signs. (Looks at Ben and Gwen) |
| Ben and Gwen look at each other for a moment. | |
| Ben | Alright, we did it! We're guilty! |
| Gwen | So much for 'admit nothing'! |
| Max | We're gonna talk about this later, you two. But, for now, how do we stop this thing, Mr. Mayor? |
| Earl | Whatchu mean "we"? You let it out, you catch it. (Sits back and chews on a straw) |
| The Megawhatt continues to cause mayhem. | |
| Max, Ben and Gwen walk through Sparksville in search of the Nosedeenian. | |
| Gwen | Should we try to lure it out with some batteries or something? |
| The Megawhatt slowly zips across a electricity cable over them. It sneaks up behind Max and gives him a wedgie, literally lifting him off the ground, struggling with his weight. | |
| Max | AAAAGH! That's not funny! Oh, it's just painful. |
| Ben | Don't worry, Grandpa. I know just the hero to deal with a troublemaker like this! |
| Ben transforms into Upgrade. | |
| Gwen | Why go Upgrade? |
| Upgrade | It's complicated. You wouldn't understand. |
| In the background, the Megawhatt drops Max. | |
| Gwen | Watch didn't let you change into what you wanted it to, did it? |
| Upgrade | (Frustrated, in a singsong voice) Shut up! |
| The Megawhatt continues to cause havoc on the other exhibits. He makes the world's largest ketchup bottle overflow. The top of the bottle then cuts the head off a giant chicken. The Megawhatt laughs. Upgrade rolls up on the rubber ball. | |
| Upgrade | Okay, twinkle toes. Time to go home! |
| Upgrade sends pieces of rubber-band flying in every direction, which causes even more damage. People run away, frightened. | |
| Gwen | Hey, doofus! Who's side are you on?! |
| Earl | (Calmly) Is it just me, or is there a lot of excitement today? (Eats popcorn) |
| The Megawhatt laughs at the damage Upgrade has done and mocks him. Upgrade, angered, accidentally fires a laser. The Megawhatt manages to dodge it at the last moment. | |
| Upgrade | Whoa! That's new. Not so funny now, is it? |
| The Megawhatt continues to laugh and takes off. Upgrade chases the Megawhatt, though it proves to be too fast to hit. The Megawhatt zips all around the street. Upgrade attempts to get a hold of the Megawhatt but it dodges. Upgrade finally manages to grab it while it was mocking him, but he gets shocked by the Megawhatt. | |
| Upgrade | UNGH! (Goes hurtling back) Okay. Do not touch the electrical guy when you're made of living metal. |
| Max | How are we gonna ground that electric devil? |
| Gwen | (Gets an idea) Grandpa, you're a genius! (Runs away) |
| Max | Well, thank you, Gwen. Why? |
| Upgrade continues chasing the Megawhatt. | |
| Upgrade | That's it! I'm pulling the plug on this guy's pranks! (Picks up a sewer lid) Hey, sparky, catch! |
| Upgrade throws the lid at it. The lid cuts the Megawhatt in half, though it regenerates into two separate Megawhatts. Upgrade is surprised, while the two Megawhatts laugh at each other. | |
| Upgrade | O--kay. So that wasn't the best idea. |
| The Omnitrix times out and Upgrade turns back into Ben. The Megawhatts attack Ben. Max and Gwen arrive in a truck carrying the world's largest thermometer. They pick Ben up. | |
| Ben | Grandpa, what're you doing? |
| Max | Giving these sparklers a science lesson they won't forget. |
| Max drives and the Megawhatts chase the truck. | |
| Gwen | Hey, mega-weirds! Come and get us! |
| Gwen shifts a gear, releasing the large thermometer into the ground vertically. The Megawhatts crash into the thermometer and get grounded. | |
| Ben | What happened? |
| Gwen | We just used the biggest thermometer as a lightning rod. Who needs an alien superhero when you've got good old-fashioned brainpower? |
| Earl | 'Course, the ground is basically just one big conductor. |
| Ben | What does that mean? |
| Gwen | (Concerned) Oh, no. It means the Megawhatts are just zipping around underground until they find some way to get back to the surface. |
| Various telephones start to ring. The group looks on anxiously. | |
| Max | They're in the underground phone lines. |
| The Megawhatts emerge out of the telephones, multiplying greatly in number. | |
Act 3
| Speaker | Dialogue |

| The Megawhatts zip around all things containing electricity, including vehicles and power lines. A Megawhatt maniacally laughs in front of the crowd of people and zips away. | |
| Woman | Uh-oh. Now they really did it. |
| Ben smirks at Gwen. | |
| Gwen | Ben Tennyson, don't say a word. |
| Ben | Hey, I'm just glad I wasn't the one who screwed up this time. |
| A small explosion occurs and Ben smiles. Gwen is distraught. | |
| All of the Megawhatts appear on the giant hot dog exhibit and laugh at once, producing a sonic scream. Everybody except Earl covers their ears. The sonic scream breaks the glass containing the world's largest toothpicks causing them to fall towards the crowd. Max sees this and runs, alerting everybody else. | |
| Max | Everybody, move! |
| All runs away, except Earl. The toothpicks land all around him. | |
| Earl | There goes the world's largest toothpicks. Oh, the humanity. (Eats popcorn) |
| The Megawhatts laugh, then scatter. | |
| Max | Those creeps idea of good, clean fun is gonna have us all pushin' up daisies. |
| Gwen | (To Ben) Don't just stand there, doofus. Dial up some help. |
| Ben | (Fiddling with the Omnitrix) Duh! Like I haven't' been trying. |
| One of the Megawhatts seems to be commanding the other Megawhatts in their language. They collectively zip away. | |
| Ben | (Scratching his head) Uhh, where'd they go? |
| Max | I don't know. But I don't think it's good. |
| An explosion occurs in one of the shops. The Megawhatts appear to have taken over the planetarium exhibit. It has a humanoid shape, sparkling with electricity and walks away. The woman from earlier walks up to the group. | |
| Woman | Well, there's somethin' you don't see everyday. They brought that planetarium exhibit to life. |
| Max | Come on, we'll head it off in the- |
| They see that the Megawhatts have removed the tires of the Rustbucket and written "U AM LAME" on the side, as well as smiley faces drawn all over it. | |
| Max | Oh, my. |
| Ben | "U am lame"? That's weak. |
| Gwen | And don't even get me started on the grammar and the spelling. |
| Earl | I reckon they'll head for the big hydroelectric dam to power up. After that, they'll just wipe out the next town and so on and son on. They think it's funny. Yup. Megawhatts got a real twisted sense of humor. |
| Gwen looks around. Ben and Gwen observe the largest fish bowl and smile. | |
| Gwen | You thinking what I'm thinking? |
| Ben | Yeah. Beat those pranksters at their own game. |
| Ben raises his arm in front of his face and the Omnitrix dial pops up. | |
| At the dam, the humanoid planetarium is busy trying to smash through the dam. A column of flame then engulfs it. The planetarium walks back and looks up to see Heatblast on top of the dam. | |
| Heatblast | This is your only warning. Knock off the funny business or I'll fry your twinkling butts! |
| The planetarium hits the dam hard, causing it to crack and leak water. The tremor shakes Heatblast. He hops and runs downwards. He seems to trip and inadvertently creates a flaming fireboard and rides on it. Approaching the ground, he jumps off the board. He is rather surprised and impressed by his newfound ability. | |
| Heatblast | Heheheheh. (Turns around and sees the cracks on the dam.) Better seal that up, fast. |
| Heatblast runs towards the dam. Some distance behind him, the planetarium gets up and moves to the turbines absorbing the energy. Near the turbines, a large tarp covering a sphere-shaped object can be seen. As the giant planetarium approaches the turbines, Heatblast arrives, riding another fireboard. He seems confident and getting the hang of his ability as he approaches the planetarium. But Heatblast loses control of his fireboard and crashes into a nearby wall. He goes down on his knees, dazed. The planetarium walks closer and hits him away. Heatblast feels dizzy and falls down. | |
| Heatblast | Uhhhh... Ungh! |
| The planetarium looks on. | |
| Gwen | Hey, mega-wimps! You wanna see something really funny? You guys are all wet! |
| Gwen sprays water at it with a hose to annoy it. Gwen runs away as the planetarium tries to punch her. Behind the planetarium, Heatblast recovers and makes a large fireball. | |
| Heatblast | What's the matter? Can't take a joke? |
| Heatblast throws the fireball at the planetarium, obliterating it. The Megawhatts zip out of the structure. | |
| Heatblast | You really got burned with that one. You guys should really quit while you're behind. |
| The Megawhatts try to attack Heatblast, but he disappears in a cloud of smoke. He immediately reappears near the tarp. | |
| Heatblast | Missed me, doofus! |
| Heatblast waves and blows kisses at them. The Megawhatts are annoyed and attack recklessly. Heatblast gets inside the tarp and the Megawhatts follow him in. Max and Gwen appear from behind the tarp. | |
| Max | Ben did it! They took the bait! |
| Max pulls the tarp off, revealing the largest fish bowl, filled with the Megawhatts inside. Heatblast shows up and breathes fire like a dragon. He completely seals up the bowl by melting the top. The Megawhatts are trapped inside. | |
| Heatblast | Na-Na! (Blows raspberries to taunt the Megawhatts) |
| Max | Nice touch using that fish bowl. With non-conductive glass sealed up tight, sparky and his pals won't be going anywhere. |
| Gwen | Once again, science saves the day. |
| The Omnitrix times out and Heatblast turns back into Ben. | |
| Ben | With a little help from science fiction. |
| Back at the town, the workers are busy getting everything back to normal. Earl and the Tennysons stand in front of an object covered by a tarp. | |
| Earl | You folks done right by us. |
| Max | Hope this adventure wasn't a big setback for Sparksville. |
| Earl | More like giant step forward. What, with our new attraction, soon we'll be raking 'em in. |
| Earl removes the tarp to reveal a giant light bulb. | |
| Earl | Biggest light bulb! It'll be a humdinger. |
| It is revealed that the light bulb is powered by the Megawhatts who are trapped inside. | |
| Earl | So long as folks mind the signs. (Bends closer to Ben and stares at him) |
| Earl walks away. They see a sign in front of the light bulb. | |
| Ben | "In case of emergency, do not break glass". |
| Ben shrugs. The Tennysons walk towards the Rustbucket. | |
| Ben | (Sighs) I think I'm pranked out for a while. |
| Max | There is a time and a place for a practical joke. |
| Ben stares at Max, blank, and opens the RV's door. A bucket of water falls over him. | |
| Max | (Giggling) But funny is funny. Especially when it's not on you. |
| Ben heaves a sigh as Gwen and Max laugh at him. | |
| Credits play. | |
