| At a warehouse, Darkstar is studying about something of value to him. Suddenly, Kevin breaks into the warehouse to confront him. | |
| Kevin | Darkstar! Just the creep I've been looking for. |
| Darkstar | And now that you've found me? |
| Kevin | I'm going to put you out of my misery once and for all! You're going back to the Null Void where you belong! |
| Kevin is charging attacks at Darkstar, but the latter is too agile for his attacks. | |
| Kevin | (continuing to attack) Stand still, you've got this beatdown coming! |
| Darkstar | I almost forgotten how tedious you can be (shoots dark energy beams at Kevin) |
| Kevin | (groans) Pretty careless of you to let me track you down. |
| Darkstar | Hardly careless - otherwise I wouldn't have left the trail so obvious even an imbecile can follow it. I wanted you to find me Kevin, both our lives depend on it. |

| Darkstar | I assure you I am entirely sincere. If I release you, will you at least hear me out? |
| Kevin | You've got one minute, go. |
| Darkstar | My question is a simple one, do you like being trapped in your current, hideous form? |
| Kevin | About as much as you like being a butt-ugly energy-sucking vampire. No offense. |
| Darkstar | None taken, for that is precisely my point. What would you say if I told you there was a way for (offscreen)both of us to become normal again.. |
| Kevin | How? |
| Darkstar | I'll show you. |
| Darkstar shows Kevin a book about a golden-ancient artifact. | |
| Darkstar | (points at golden artifact) This is the Dominus Librium, an ancient instrument of extraordinary power and decidedly alien origin. |
| Kevin | Looks like an oversized wishbone. |
| Darkstar | Legend has it that (offscreen) the Librium was actually a sophisticated power conduit, capable of transferring extraordinary energy from one vessel to another.. |
| Kevin | (sarcastically) Thanks for the history lesson. (briefly walks away) |
| Darkstar | But it's history no longer, after a great deal of effort and expense, I have managed to track the artifact to an isolated island, recently risen in the South Pacific. |
| Kevin | Losing interest. |
| Darkstar | You shouldn't, because I believe this relic can restore the two of us to normal. |
| Kevin | Not that I don't trust you, which I don't, (offscreen) but why are you telling me all this? |
| Darkstar | Because, frankly, I can't get to this artifact alone. I require your unique ability to retrieve the Librium and I'm willing to trade you the cure for your help. |
| Kevin | Selfish motive, at least that makes sense. |
| Darkstar | So what say you, are you willing to momentarily put aside our differences (offscreen) and work together to be cured? |
| Kevin | Gotta feeling I'm gonna regret this, but, okay, I'm in. |
| Darkstar | Excellent... and your friends, the Tennysons? |
| Kevin | They'll just have to get along without me for a while. |
| Outside Ben's House, Gwen is trying to contact Kevin via Plumber Badge. | |
| Ben | Any luck? |
| Gwen | Kevin's Plumber Badge isn't responding. |
| Ben | Try it again, he should be here. |
| Gwen | I'm not his babysitter, Ben, if he wants to ignore us, that's his choice. |
| Ben | Fine, then he'll just have to miss the fun, the Forever Knights aren't gonna kick their own butts. |
| Gwen | So how do we get there without Kevin's Car? |
| Ben | (activates his Omnitrix) Easy, we improvise. (slams the Omnitrix and turns into Jetray) |
| Jetray | Jetray! (carries Gwen with his prehensile feet and flies) Onward and upward! |
| Meanwhile, Darkstar and Kevin use a ship to make it to their destination and as they land to their destination, they exit the ship, and then they are walking though the forest, then are walking through some ancient head monuments into a temple. | |
| Kevin | So where are we, Eastern Island? |
| Darkstar | Actually, Robinuwe is 700 miles from here, this island has been submerged for centuries. A recent undersea of people brought to the surface. |
| Kevin | Oh, so it's more like ground hog day island, ugly suckers aren't they? |
| Darkstar | Who are we to throw stones? |
| Kevin | Good point, let's get what we came for and get out! |
| Darkstar | (halts Kevin) Tread carefully, they built this temple to not take kindly to trespassers. |
| Kevin | This isn't the first time I've done this dude, I know what I'm- (steps on a booby trap while walking) Uh-oh. |
| The booby trap accidentally triggered by Kevin makes the giant head monuments rise from the ground and become statues for combat. | |
| Kevin | This can't possibly be good! |
| Darkstar jumps and slides through one of them, Kevin slides through the gap of one of their legs, one of them attacks the latter, but he morphs his hand into an axe and slices it's hand. | |
| Kevin | We're getting outnumbered here! |
| Darkstar | Inside! That statues are too large to follow us. |
| Kevin morphs his hand into a spiked mace and hits a statue, and the former hits another one before him and Darkstar can enter. | |
| Kevin | Well, that was... |
| Cut to one of the temple, the Dominus Librium is sitting next to the hands of a statue. | |
| Kevin | Whoa! |
| Darkstar | And there is the prize we seek - impressive, isn't it? (shoots a dark energy beam at it which causes a vibration) You see now why I needed your assistance? |
| Kevin | Fine, I'll get it. (climbing up the statue) - (gets to the top; covers his nose) Man! Smells like a monkey's armpit up here! |
| Darkstar | Quickly! The Librium! |
| Kevin | (grabs the Librium) Got it, let's get gone! |
| Suddenly, the temple is rumbling, and the statue's hands close on Kevin and the Librium. | |
| Kevin | Oh great! |
Act 2
| Speaker | Dialogue |

| Kevin | (grunting) |
| Darkstar fires a dark energy beam at the statue's hands, making Kevin break free and the latter escapes in a rolling formation. | |
| Darkstar | Are you alright? |
| Kevin | Better never! (shows the Librium) This gizmo must've been holding this place together. |
| Kevin and Darkstar get ready to exit, but the former almost falls into a wave of water before being saved by the latter, the water wave bursts and forms a water tornado, going in Kevin and Darkstar's direction. The water bursts above the temple, while the duo escape. They dodge attacks from statues, which get destroyed by the water tornado, which starts following Kevin and Darkstar, the water tornado starts causing a water flood, Kevin and Darkstar get caught in it, the flood directs the duo to the ship, and they enter the ship. | |
| Kevin | Get this crate airborne now! |
| The ship starts flying away. | |
| Darkstar and Kevin are on ground in a forest. | |
| Darkstar | (holding the Librium) No one will bother us here, time we put the artifact to use. |
| Kevin | You sure you know what you're doing with that thing? |
| Darkstar | Absolutely. It's designed to balance our powers, but allows me to absorb enough energy from you to make you normal again, while the inflex of your energy restores me to normal as well. An affect of me shutting down both of our powers permanently! |
| Kevin | So where's the on-switch? |
| Darkstar | Just take hold of the opposite end of the Librium - Do it! |
| Kevin | (takes hold of the Librium) Okay, now what? |
| The Librium starts shining. | |
| Darkstar | Now the magic happens! |
| Light starts shining around Kevin, then same happens to Darkstar. | |
| Darkstar | Can't you feel it? The Librium is transferring your excess energy into me! |
| Kevin | (groaned voice) Iiiiiit huuuurts!! |
| Darkstar | Nothing... worth having is gained, without effort! |
| The armor of Kevin's rock mutation start's breaking off. | |
| Kevin | Wait, stop it, stop!! AAAH!! |
| A few minutes later. | |
| Kevin | (regaining consciousness; groans) (grabs Darkstar by the jumper) What part of "wait, stop, no" did you not understa... Huh? (realizes he is back to normal, in his briefs) My face! I... I'm human again! |
| Darkstar | As I promised. |
| Kevin | Can't morph, can't absorb, I'm... I'm cured! |
| Darkstar | (takes off mask) Now neither of us can absorb energy, we're free to get on with our lives. (throws mask on ground) - And I owe it all to you. (puts hand out for Kevin to shake) |
| Kevin | (shakes his hand) Okay, your welc- (gets punched by Michael) |
| Michael Morningstar | (grabs Dominus Librium) Our association is hereby concluded. It would be wise of you to never again cross my path.. |
| At Ben's House. | |
| Ben | Still no word from Kevin? |
| Gwen | Not a peep, I'm really starting to get worried. |
| Kevin | (offscreen) About me? (hanging by the door; in his appearance before getting mutated) |
| Ben | Kevin, where have you been? What's with the black eye? Is that supposed to make you look tougher? |
| Gwen | (reads his manna) Oh, I feel your skin, you're not wearing your ID Mask. |
| Kevin | Yup, I'm back to human. |
| Ben | But how'd you do that? Gwen's been working on a cure for months. |
| Gwen | And I'm no closer than when I started. |
| Kevin | Heh, what can I say, I... wished upon a star last night and woke up this morning my old gorgeous self. (puts hand on the wall to show them he isn't lying) See? No transformation, no powers, no nothing. |
| Gwen | Really? |
| Kevin | Hey, I'm better, what else matters? |
| Gwen | Oh, and that black eye you're sporting? |
| Kevin | Oh, that... I was so excited to be human again that I walked back into an open door. |
| Ben | Hey, small price to pay, huh? |
| Kevin | Right, whatever. So we got any Plumber business to take care of or what? |
| Ben | Don't we always? (offscreen) C'mon, we'll fill you in on the way.. |
| They arrive at their destination with Kevin's Car, outside a building. | |
| Kevin | So the Forever Knights are at it again, huh? |
| Ben | Yeah, we got to the robbery too late, they were all ready gone. |
| Gwen | Not that anyone's pointing fingers or anything. |
| Kevin | Fine, okay, I should've been there. |
| Gwen | (stops Kevin with her hand before he can proceed) Not so fast, without any powers you could get hurt in there, you better wait here. |
| Kevin | What? But I- |
| Gwen | I mean it. |
| Kevin | Great, so now I'm just a chauffeur, what happens when you two finally get your licenses? |
| Inside the building, the Forever Knights are in there, and some of them are using drilling machines to carry the boxes inside the truck. Unbeknownst to them, Ben and Gwen are being sneaky, and they can see what's going on. | |
| Gwen | They're almost finished loading - If we're gonna do something, we better do it now. |
| Ben | Then I guess it's time for... |
| Ben activates his Omnitrix and dials in Humungousaur, but instead gets Big Chill. | |
| Big Chill | Big Chill? Hmm, never what I asked for, never! |
| The Forever Knights start blasting their Laser Lances at them, Gwen fires a manna ball at one of them. Gwen is walking with a manna force field to deflect from the lasers, then Gwen fires a manna disk at one of them, then Big Chill freezes three of them. | |
| Big Chill | I hate a cold reception. |
| Gwen blasts one of the knights back with manna, then two of them are about to strike. | |
| Kevin | (offscreen) Hey tin man! (throws a metal pole at one of them) (smacks another with another metal pole) That wasn't very chivalrous. |
| Gwen | I thought I told you to wait by the car! |
| Kevin | Yeah, like that was gonna happen. |
| Forever Knight | Run away, run away! |
| The knights are preparing to depart in their truck. | |
| Big Chill | Time to put you three on ice! |
| Big Chill uses his ice breath to freeze the rest of the knights and the truck, then the Omnitrix times out and Big Chill reverts into Ben. | |
| Gwen | (to Kevin) Good thing their engine wouldn't start. |
| Kevin | Trust me, they weren't going anywhere without their (pulls out orange component) distributor cap. |
| Ben | Powered or not, you're still an important part of this team. We need you. |
| Ben and Gwen are standing outside of the former's house, while Kevin is outside with them in his car. | |
| Kevin | Hey Gwen, what do you say uhh, to maybe a movie or something later? |
| Gwen puts her hand on Kevin's, then in her imagination, a brief itch of Darkstar pops up in. | |
| Gwen | I can't, I've got an errand to run. |
| Kevin | Okay, your loss. You know that I'm really good looking again, right? |
| Gwen | I'll see you later, Kevin, after I make sure you can live with whatever it is you've done. |
Act 3

| Gwen is outside the same place Kevin confronted Michael earlier and is reading manna. | |
| Gwen | Michael's manna led me to him like a beacon. He's inside, I can feel it. |
| Gwen uses manna stepping stones to get over the metal fence and then opens the door roughly, then she finds Michael, just the person she was on the search for, the latter is admiring his long-lost appearance in the mirror with a brown jacket. | |
| Michael Morningstar | Ah, lovely Gwen, I've been expecting you. |
| Gwen | I'll just bet you have, Kevin's aura stinks of you. Tell me what you did to him and maybe I'll go easy on you. |
| Michael Morningstar | Tell you? I'll be more than happy to show you. (takes off jacket, revealing the Librium on his chest) Kevin has the Dominus Librium to thank for his current condition, it absorbed it's powers and transferred it to me. (Librium glows) I can no longer absorb energy on my own, but the artifact can still do the job for me. |
| The Dominus Librium shoots an energy beam at Gwen's manna shield, which breaks. She puts up more shields, but the Librium absorbs them all. | |
| Michael Morningstar | Finally, sweet Gwen, finally all your power is going to be mine! |
| At Ben's House, Ben is trying to contact Gwen with his cell phone. | |
| Kevin | Still no answer? |
| Ben | Nothing, my calls go straight to voicemail, and she has her Plumbers Badge turned off, so we can't track her that way. (trying to contact her again) |
| Kevin | This is all my fault! |
| Ben | That Gwen had to run an errand? |
| Kevin | That she's gone to do something stupid! |
| Ben gives Kevin a hard stare. | |
| Kevin | Okay, stop staring at me like that, you're creeping me out! |
| Ben | So talk! |
| Kevin | Fine, I made a deal with Michael Morningstar, okay? Gwen must've figured it out somehow, now she's gone off to find him.. |
| Ben | YOU what?! - Then we better find her, fast! |
| The scene is now outside Ben's house, with Kevin's Car ready. | |
| Ben | Fastest way to track her down is as Jetray, so... |
| Ben activates the Omnitrix and dials in Jetray, but gets Echo Echo instead. | |
| Echo Echo | Echo Echo? |
| Kevin | That's getting old, Ben, seriously. |
| Echo Echo | Tell me about it. |
| Echo Echo clones himself of over 30 clones. | |
| Echo Echos | I'll split up, check all over town for her, then... |
| Kevin | (enters the car) No time, hop in. I think I know where she's going. |
| Echo Echos | (enters the car) Then what are we waiting for? GO! |
| The Omnitrix times out and the Echo Echos revert into Ben. | |
| Kevin | (preparing the car) You know, you could've done that before you got in my ride. |
| Back at the real action with Gwen and Michael, the former is blasting manna projectiles at him, but he is resisting thanks to the Librium, which is absorbing the manna blast, then throes something at him which he dodges. Then Michael starts to attack by shooting blasts from the Librium - then he shoots an energy blast at Gwen's manna shield, it breaks then she is exposed to the Librium's absorbing beam. | |
| Gwen | NOOO!! |
| The beam is bringing Gwen closer to the Librium. | |
| Michael Morningstar | I knew you'd come looking for me, lovely Gwen. Kevin is too stupid to not let something slip. |
| Kevin | (offscreen) HEY! I resent that! |
| Ben | (running at Michael with Kevin) You may look human again, but deep down, you're still the same miserable creep! |
| Michael Morningstar | Sticks and stones, little man. |
| Ben | Haven't got any handy, (activates his Omnitrix) so you'll just have to settle for... (slams his Omnitrix and transforms into Swampfire) |
| Swampfire | Swampfire! Hey, the Omnitrix got it right this time. |
| Kevin | Pat yourself on the back later. |
| Swampfire | Gladly. (launches fireball at Dominus Librium energy shield) |
| Michael Morningstar | Thank you for giving me your power, lovely Gwen, it tastes... delicious. |
| Gwen | (groans) |
| Michael Morningstar | And while we're at it, Benjamin, suppose I take yours as well. |
| Michael uses the Librium's power to fire an energy absorbing beam at Swampfire. | |
| Michael Morningstar | That's it, children, give me your power! GIVE ME ALL YOUR POWER! |
| Gwen | No! (skin goes gray and goes in a weakened state) NOO!! |
| Kevin | What do I do, what can I do? Without my powers, I'm useless! - (walks up to Gwen) Hang on Gwen, I'm coming! (gets blocked from her with Michael's energy shield) |
| Michael Morningstar | I wouldn't advise that, Kevin. The amount of energy from the Dominus Librium is delicate! If you interrupt the flow in any way, the consequences can be catastrophic! |
| Gwen | (groaning weakly) |
| Kevin | I don't care. Nothing matters as long as Gwen is safe! (jumps over energy shield) |
| Gwen | Kevin, don't! |
| Michael Morningstar | STOP! You'll ruin everything! |
| Kevin | As you said, "our association is hereby concluded!" |
| Kevin gets caught in his absorbing beam, buying him a chance to grab onto the Librium - then he removes it from Michael's chest. | |
| Michael Morningstar | NOOO!! |
| Energy BANG!! which destroys the windows. Stuff in the warehouse is destroyed, and Gwen is back to normal, and is in a normal state. | |
| Gwen | (opens her eyes) |
| Kevin | (groaning offscreen) |
| Gwen | Kevin are you o- (gasps upon seeing he is in his rock mutation again) |
| Kevin | What? What's... (realizes he is back in his rock mutation) Oh, figured that might happen. |
| Gwen | I am so sorry, if it wasn't for me- |
| Kevin | No, don't. I did what I had to do, and I'll do it again in a second. |
| Darkstar | (offscreen) NO! (onscreen; looking at himself in the mirror and sees he has reverted to Darkstar) Look! Look what you've done to me! You will pay for this! (puts on his mask) Someday, you will all pay! (exits the warehouse) |
| Gwen | Think we should go after him? |
| Kevin | Nah, he won't be a threat to anyone for a long time. |
| Ben | (groaning offscreen; box on his head) Where am I? |
| Kevin takes off the box. | |
| Ben | Kevin, what happened to you? |
| Kevin | Call it karma, kid, and leave it at that. Come on, let's go to Mr. Smoothies, (offscreen) first round's on me. |
